I am not a Cubs fan, but a baseball fan! What a series and congrats to all those fans and players! This is what makes the game of baseball so special! This game brings so many people together even when there is so much going on in this world and for some time we forget about everyday life and stresses because we are watching a "game"! The game of baseball! I have been fortunate enough to play this game on every level (little league, high school,college and professional)! I have won championships at all levels and have been blessed with so many memories and life's lessons learned because of baseball! What a series and what a game! Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs and all their fans!

This series had more to offer than any in recent memory. I actually enjoyed watching the entire series with my daughter and nine year old granddaughter. Neither one of them like sports but they hung in there and watched almost all of the seven games and that's a tribute to how good this series actually was. It's almost like there was a script written for game seven and should have a movie to follow.
If your a true baseball fan there was so many different things going on it was difficult to keep my daughter aware of it all. Truly one of the best baseball games ever played as far as a fan and it having it all!
GO DODGERS!!!!!!

Baseball just does not get any better than the 2016 World Series.....Two great teams with no real weakness played their hearts out. Both are class organizations with loyal fans that have been through extreme droughts. Two of the best managers and front offices in the game. This series had it all.

And the best thing about it, the series lived up to the billing. 7 games that saw a 3-1 lead overcome, and the last game went extra innings with both benches nearly cleared in a great back and forth. The Cubbies finally ended the drought and the Indians gave all they had to the last out.

Theo Epstein, "Curse Killer".....What a lineup he assembled. And Madden and Francona, are there better managers in the game? I don't think so. They gamble at times and hang on a ledge, but their decisions most often work. These guys go all in to win, and it makes for great baseball as it's meant to be played.

Congratulations to both clubs and their fans for one of the greatest World Series in the history of the game.......:thumbup::thumbup:
