My Dad has a 21 Stealth with bitchin American flag graphics and a 350Mag. I dont think he would consider selling it for that price. It seems a hair low. Low 20's seems fair.

I put a deposit down on a 98 Ultra 21LX I should be picking it up this friday or saturday. It is a Marine power 454 and American Turbine jet. The boat actually belonged to my uncle who ordered it new in 98 and sold it last april when he upgraded to a new 22 stealth. Its pretty cool that I am ending up with this boat because this is the boat that I pretty much grew up on. Ill post some pictures after i get her home. And thanks everyone for the help on my search

Oh and I didnt think that 16 grand for an older stealth 21 was that unreasonable. This one just sold a month ago on here for 16,000 or possibly less.

All due respect, that is NOT a 21 Stealth in that ad.

Nice boat for sure, but a lot of changes from that hull and a 21 Stealth.

XT was a 20.5, LX was the mainstay 21, and that boat listed was a modified deck with an LX bottom , possibly called an XS, or something similar.

The 21 Stealth had a wider driver/passenger area, higher freeboard in same area, and slightly shorter open bow to make up for the design change.
The Stealth hull is also a couple hundred pounds heavier at least than an LX hull.

I had a 94' LX hull 7 years before owning my Stealth hull for the last 3, major difference in how the Stealth handles chop.

All were good boats, none are in production so prices will eventually drop, just not to 16k for a complete big block jet powered Stealth.....yet

Thanks LowRiver for filling me in a little bit more on the models i was unaware that ultra had a model between the lx and the stealth. But i guess that explains the price difference. Ill post up some pictures of my new boat when I pick it up this weekend.

I was interested in that boat but it has been sold for a couple of months now. We have a Keith Black all aluminum 572 at the shop i work at right now that would have been perfect for that boat.

Looks like a mid 90's LX,

I had a 502/ Dominator in mine.

If you want, you can find out which plant it was made at (Ultra had 3 production facilities in that era). Ultra plant that John West had, the now Cobra boats in Montclair (where mine was assembled), and the old Lightning boats plant in LA County.

Its a 98 and was built in the El Cajon facility by John West. My uncle owned this boat from 98 until april of last year when he upgraded to a new stealth 22.

Wow. I actually talked to the owner of that 21XS last year and made him a CASH offer for $18K...Dude wouldn't give me the time of day.

Also called someone on an '03 21 Stealth with a 502/jet combo in Parker. White w/burgundy flames...is that your boat LowRiver? Looks very clean.

Picked up the boat friday from yuma and went straight out to the river house in Blythe from there to put it in the water. Boat ran flawless and I couldnt be happier. Here are some more photos

Congrats!!! Great looking boat!!! You should have years of fun with that boat. My Buddy has his dads 93 21 ultra and it still runs perfect!!!! Great boats!!!
