Buddy had his car totaled last night by a drunk driver.
He will have to finance but will have a good down so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Looking for 3/4 ton 4x4 preference for the following.

Ford 7.3 gas
Ford 6.2 gas
Ford 6.7 diesel
Ram 6.4 gas
Chevy 6.0 gas

Or pre smog Chevy / Dodge diesels in excellent shape.

Max budget is 50k but really wants to be below that.

@bigdawgmini has a damn nice 2021, white, 3/4ton gas Chevy sitting on his lot. It’s in your money range, and just so happens I could be persuaded to deliver it! 😁

I’ve got a super clean 7.3 F250 in the classifieds here. Only thing is it’s not 4x4, but it’s way less than $50k and looks showroom new

He has to have 4x4 for when we go hunting. I’m tired of always taking my truck.

Now that he found one. Why was he high on the gas truck train and not a diesel for the budget he had?

Same reason allot of guys are moving away from diesel. Owning a diesel out of warranty is not smart. He really wanted a 7.3 like mine but was way more than he wanted to spend.

Personally I think he made a mistake buying the 3.5. The best bang for your towing buck with least amount of issues in his price range was the 6.4 Hemi / 8 speed. But he wanted a Ford and he found a decent deal so hopefully the 3.5 is kind to him.

Owning a gas engine SUV with a turbo is sucking pretty bad now...

Ive had 3 3.5, 2011, 2015, 2019 and all were great. first 2 i put 150k on the odometer and third about 60k. Had to sell last one due to company truck.
Biggest issue I had w the trucks were a cooling line to a turbo had a leak on the 2015, about $900 repair, and on the 2011, 2 coil packs went on another that cost about $1000 at the time.
