With winter here where's every ones projects?

Jet people have become very secretive in the last couple years, I dont get it, I dont have shit to hide, I have had impeller work done and adding a pop off and launch controller to my family truckster, just trying to optimize the use of my investment!
Anyone doing anything not so secretive?? I check this place out quite often, its turned into more of one of those outboard sections! lol
I guess everyone owns vdrives and outdriven boats now!

Im rebuilding my carbs, adding full MSD, some billet stuff, oil cooler, and a new scoop.

Todd stop messing around and pull that 1600hp BBC you have been hiding and get er done! LOL Ill make sure to stop by your pit in march.

my winter crap is change fuel/water filter, new wood and carpet for the bunks as well as some carpet for the boat. Find out why my my carbs are flooding out all of a sudden. Usually you can see fuel over flowing or leaking from somewhere not in this case you can only smell it. I also want to play with the pulley ratio on the blower to see if i can squeez some more boost out of it.

Changed my neutral bucket to co/2. Should help with reaction times. Did a leakdown & compression test. Backed off valve springs, drained float bowls. Come on spring time!!

just pulled the cover washed it cleaned the inside from the power tour pulled the bowls flushed the carbs added a bit more timing and should be ready for the tom papp deal for saturday

Going to get it off the trailer and have the bottom regeled. Re paint the trailer and maybe an inducer

Go Pros are easy to shoot, it's the rest of the process that takes so much time.

Anxiously awaiting my 21 Bitz "Daytona", pulling the blown 510 from my 250 Daytona and having Dan Nelson rig the new Bitz. Larry Pedo will freshen up and dyno the engine and have it ready for the new rig soon. We've got some pretty lofty hole shot and MPH goals in mind for a big boat.

Goal is first week or two of June.

The engine now, last dyno tune was 3-4 years ago made 1030HP and it was detuned a bit after coming out of my last 21 Daytona. 12#, 10:71, avgas engine, without stern drive limitations, I think 1100. No pump yet but we'll do everything Dan Nelson wants to a new Dominator. with the xtra 18" interior available to move engine up "A Bit". Hole shot should be impressive, Rick says this one will be in his words "quite a bit lighter" 107-109?

A clean slate is nice.

I am thinking about cutting down the pod on M$ and re Gelling black with clear so it won't be such a fight to keep it looking good the 2-4 times a decade I use it. Add a swing away tongue so I don't have to open the Reverse gate and stick the nozzle to the wall so the garage door will close. I will also send the trailer in to be sand blasted and powder coated as it is cheaper then me buying paint and doing it myself. It got new tires on the trailer and everything re polished already but most will have to come out as I want to re coat the floor and make it look like new again.

As for the Open bow It needs a new battery, extend the battery cables for the amps to piss off the old people with my rap music, Need some stabil in the tank or pump the gas out and throw it in my truck. a few repairs to the seats where my kids "helped" and pulled the piping off and a little repair in the hatch where the pump cables were jammed through it 2 times one on the freeway when the hatch blew open and once when the engine compartment exploded and slammed the hatch onto the pump. Electric actuator for the hatch and some shiney parts wouldn't hurt either.

I hope it starts to warm up soon so I can get to work

Actuall I'm gonna give thought to putting full interior and fuel tanks back in my RR boat so'as I can make a lake boat out of it
