I would, especially for organized crimes like these.
I did the same with my son but it was a bag of balloons that I made him take into the store. The lesson has never left him. When Josh (my Son and partner) was 5 or 6 He swiped a roll of Lifesavers at a drug store , when Rhonda found out She drove him back to the store and marched him into the store to do a Mea culpa and pay for them

And then beat the shit out of them some more when the police got done with them.I would have turned my kids in, in a heartbeat. After I beat the shit out of them...
No but they wouldn’t be living with me if they where that fucked upI would, especially for organized crimes like these.
I literally just did the same thing to my six-year-old about a month ago. He picked up a toy at a grocery store and decided he was going to keep it and I found it when I got home. I had his ass and was able to sneak away for two minutes and call the manager at the grocery store and tell him to put the fear of God into my kid when I brought him back when he came to apologize. Needless to say, I don’t think he will be doing that again. he for sure thought he was going to jailWhen Josh (my Son and partner) was 5 or 6 He swiped a roll of Lifesavers at a drug store , when Rhonda found out She drove him back to the store and marched him into the store to do a Mea culpa and pay for them
