I eat a lot of Fast Food. My favorite is a Canadian burger chain called Triple O's. I get a Whopper every Weds because they are on sale. Love fast food.

Just hit Farmers Boys because the kid and I like to split a breakfast burrito before his practice. I THOUGHT I had a free breakfast burrito with our rewards but they changed the rewards and no longer offer the free burrito, so used a $5 off coupon.

Freaking burrito was still $8 and it's half the size it used to be.

Used to be one in San Bernardino. It was on a corner called “chicken corner” because it was also next to a KFC and some other chicken proprietor (Pioneer?). That are all gone now from that area.

I've heard that Pioneer was the far better chicken but I never got to try it. Haven't seen a Churchs in years. They probably lost out to the race to the bottom winner, KFC.

Apparently there is a revived Pioneer chicken in south LA somewhere. Along with another long lost place called Naugles (Mexican food).
There’s still 2 Churches in Berdoo. Waterman and Baseline and Pepper and Foothill.

Have at it if you like it,haha

In 1993, a large E. coli outbreak linked to Jack in the Box restaurants resulted in over 700 cases, four deaths, and significant legal settlements, ultimately leading to major advancements in food safety regulations and industry practices
We had a bad outbreak at our Chipotle here in Simi several years back, probably one of the safest places now

In Canada they banned medium rare burgers at all restaurants. Regular restaurant burgers suck here because they all over cook the shit out of them.

I think it was mentioned above . . . 'Tommy's' hambugers.
There's one off the 405 in Fountain Valley
I eat there about once every 3-4 years . . . just enough to enjoy it . . . then I'm good for another 3-4 years.
1 criteriea / tradition I have for Tommy's is to ALWAYS take a nap afterwards . . . if I can't do that, it's a no-go. The place ruins me.
I'm going to Marina Del Rey on the 28th for a tournament that's over at 1:00 pm. . . it's been 3-4 years . . . it's time !!! 🤘 ⚡ 😴🛌

The best marketing recovery ever. That’s when they brought back Jack the clown. People died but look, here’s a clown! It worked.

The El Torito not far from there on Hawthorne. Sit in the bat area. Happy hour every day until 9. Lately chicken fajitas are $10.99

I can ask my Realtor if She knows of any good 1 bedroom spots in south Torrance or Redondo. She manages a few in that area. Prices are crazy though.

Thanks.

She ended up applying for a one bedroom (in a fourplex) a few blocks from the beach in Redondo. Seems like a nice neighborhood (mostly single family homes) and they are good with her dog. Comes with an independent one car garage that will fit her car and dirt bike as well.

Prices are high everywhere down that way especially closer to the beach. Although she’s going to have to pay $2,860 a month, out of the dozen plus units we looked at, it was the best value considering the area. Seems like it got a bit seedy the closer you got to Lawndale or Artesia Bl.

Probably also worth noting is the unit was completely rehabbed. New everything including an in unit washer/dryer, all new appliances, flooring, countertops, etc. she’ll be the first person to live in it assuming she gets the lease. There were several folks looking at it however, she’s a saver (significant money in her investment accounts) and has an 800 credit score. As a result, she should be a top candidate.

My old neighborhood. Grew up west of Palos Verdes Blvd at Sepulveda. Moved to PCH at Ruby street Where my rent was 600 per month. Took my old girlfriend to the Outback by the del Amo Mall dozens of times. What cross streets is she near?
