Who’s a pricey pooch?

The world’s most expensive — and unique — dog has sold for a fetching $5.7 million. Being the first of its kind, this is pooch is a cross between an actual wolf and a Caucasian Shepherd — which can sound like a sci-fi movie plot.

An Indian dog enthusiast barked up the big bucks for the “wolfdog” named Cadabomb Okami, touted as the rarest dog in the world.

This extravagant pup was born in the US and is only eight months old — but already weighs over 165 lbs and is 30 inches tall.

Being part Shepherd, at heart Okami is a guardian breed — known for its protective instincts and intelligence — that “should never be taken lightly,” according to the American Kennel Club. Knowing this, Okami will make for a good watchdog.

When I married my wife, she brought a shepherd/timber wolf mix along with her. It was a cool dog in some ways, but rather wild. At our first home, she somehow managed to break the concrete (I have no idea how!) and dig her way out of the kennel. At our second home, which was out in the sticks, she got loose several times as well, on separate occasions bringing home a piglet, a chicken, and a bullet in her shoulder. Finally, one day she didn’t come home at all.

If she saw our cat outside, she’d chase it, and I’m sure would have killed it if there were no trees. When in the house, the cat would lay right next to her, and the dog would shake the entire time, both knowing I’d punish her if she did anything.
