Looks like it’s going to be pretty windy starting tonight and will be howling around 7am tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the warning. The last time it was windy I found my spa cover upside down in the pool. They aren't that close together. Gonna go tie it down.

Weather, someone needs to fix it. More taxes is a good start.
We had heavy rain last night and 30+ wind here in NH last night and never lost power and I’m pretty sure our taxes aren’t going up to cover any expenses associated with it. 😉

It will hit 70+ where I live in the hills. It gets crazy. But I hear ya. It's bullshit.
It's panic time!
I ran all over those hills in my misspent youth.
We'd head up every time high winds were predicted.
It definitely does blow up there.😁

Our daughter, near Elko NV, is getting a good snow today with more coming on Friday & Saturday. Unfortunately, I recently learned, in some regions in that area, the run off flows north, makes its way to the Columbia River and out to the Pacific. Who knew?

I just drove through southern Idaho into northern Nevada (and all the way down to Vegas) and most definitely the top of Nevada drains north. The rest of Nevada drains south because it’s all downhill.

I wish it would blow down every traffic light in Havasu. And to boot while I was in the south side of town they snuck all the north bound lanes into one during my meeting. 😡😀

Had all my trees trimmed two months ago. Very happy about that. Don’t need another one falling on my house like two years ago.

11 mph w/20 mph gusts right now in Victorville. Bump that up to 40 mph gusts after midnight. My Christmas tree was down the street when I got home from work today

Wind just started in Fontana of the 15 and Duncan canyon 15 min ago and it’s starting to pack a punch.

It was pretty strong along the 40 last nite. Interesting tho, I don't recall the forecast mentioning anything about the rain. 🤔

You are so right! It is a steady climb out of Vegas to over 8000' near Ely. It is fairly gradual, so you don't notice it much. I never knew until 2021 coming home from Desert Storm towing our Hallett 300.

Looks like we're going to have crazy winds here starting tomorrow. Make sure you got your batteries charged and flashlights handy. S.C.E. will most likely shut off power for those of us that live in their grid.

I feel like this is going to be an annual event
