Top one is an interesting build. Guessing they’re making the most out of the lot
Yah wish I would have taken a picture of the other side.

Huge deck facing the river.

Now that makes sense. My friend “lurker Jim”’ and i always joke about building one together that’s very similar. 2 huge RV garages on each side (mine is slightly bigger), 2 masters, one big great room and a bunk room. Would love to see the the back of that.

Yep, that's me. Did too much thought before pulling the trigger. Wanted both, but you were in line. No worries, I encourage you to build a nice place, and then rent it to me a few times a year! We are a couple years from building I think.

If all goes to plan I should be building by next year unless I buy the lot to the left of me...for a huge river compound.

Also, you won't mind if I have overflow parking in your lot for the next few years??? Lol

you guys did good getting your names on deeds...I prediction is those lots are gonna double in the next year...that's kind of a secret area that just starting to get a lot of exposure...cool for a developer as there as many lots as you want , curb , gutter, power and water.plus graded ... ready to start building...that and the lots are square...lots are 115' deep 25' set back...front and back..so 65' deep rv garage possible...

the other thing I like there is it is buffered from trailers, I don't have anything against mobile homes, in fact I like them... but I don't like the mix of stick built and mobiles...seems that the areas that have mobiles have a nice place next to a dump all the time..that and units that are way past their life span,,

my plan was to build 2 of this plan with one house flipped to have both rv garages side by side... then concrete between the two for parking...with gates across the front....I'd put a 4'' high cur to keep everyone on their side... that would save on about 65' of block wall, and make a nice parking compound...I had even though of having a shared pool in the middle,.. as I was gonna rent out the second home

also.....these lots have front south exposure... very best IMO...and the plans have an almost zero sun load on the windows...real important when it comes to cooling...

Here's the back. It's been very interesting watching this be built. Underneath that covered porch on the rear, they excavated it out pretty deep from what I could tell. They then had several large ~15" diameter pipes extending out of the ground. Then they backfilled it. Some sort of geothermal cooling/heating is all I could think of? A well? Septic? No clue...

I purchased a place on Aspen in January. Had been looking for awhile and finally decided to do it. Hopefully meet some of you guys soon. Need to follow someone out of the marina toward Needles a couple times if anybody is willing.

Same here...I need to follow someone. I did it a dozen times or so last year at various water levels and never had an issue but it may have been dumb luck.
I'm going to start a thread about the preferred route from the Marina to the bridge because there is lots of info on here but it's kinda scattered all over the place.

Hey all.

Just checking in. Got a requote from Maas construction for the house I posted about 2 posts above.

It's now at 360k no block wall or landscaping.

Longer RV Garage 65 ft. or 70 ft.

RV Hookups inside, Electrical, Water, RV Dump

That quote as me pretty scared now. I’m getting close to pulling the trigger on a lot in Mohave Valley and will need a builder. I don’t want to go more than $250k on the house.

Just moved in on Carob in June. Really enjoy the location and have great neighbors. Have made the run down to Needles several times and it is not as difficult as you would think. Hit me up on PM and we can all grab a beer...
