It’s been for sale for a while. But the track needed re paving & the facility is in severe decay. You’ll fall through the majority of the grandstands on the front straight and the buildings all look like they are months away from falling over.

They just repaved the track and we/SCCA have a race scheduled for October but I’ve heard there is a 6-8” drop off from the pavement to the soil. Extremely dangerous situation so if they don’t fix this it may be canceled and rescheduled to Buttonwillow.

Hard to say what exactly it’s worth. My guess is the track rental & income doesn’t at all come close to what they’ve asking. Family greed after the old man passed. Disgraceful

I'd imagine that's more of "we think this is what buyers with money are wanting to hear" than anything else?

I go there every couple of months in the winter with my Pro Mazda track car. It’s too damn hot in the summer. I really hope whoever buys it is going to keep it a racetrack. A lot of people have had a lot of fun there over the years. My Dad took me there when I was a kid.

Anybody knows since it’s a designated historical landmark, with the limitations and or tax benefits, and other issues how that would affect the sale?
I go up there about six times a year. Vintage, drift, drags. It would be a bummer if it went away. I like the small home Town track feel.
