Anyone want to buy a race track?
That was the first thought, but itâs surrounded by thousands of acres of undeveloped land.RIP Willow springs
A developer will buy it and build
It's real shit hole surrounding area. Lot's of unused farms and what not. Tons of cheaper acreage of farming land with no water cut off by gruesome newsomRIP Willow springs
A developer will buy it and build
Iâll get the Om and post it when I have a momentThis Offering Memorandum is provided by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties (âBrokerâ) to registered Buyers (âBuyerâ or âBuyerâs Agentâ) for the purpose of considering the acquisition of the real estate assets and optional business of Willow Springs International Raceway.
That pretty much says it all. "Optional business".
It's fine....just run the meatball up a flag pole visible from anywhere on the track and call it a characteristicItâs been for sale for a while. But the track needed re paving & the facility is in severe decay. Youâll fall through the majority of the grandstands on the front straight and the buildings all look like they are months away from falling over.
They just repaved the track and we/SCCA have a race scheduled for October but Iâve heard there is a 6-8â drop off from the pavement to the soil. Extremely dangerous situation so if they donât fix this it may be canceled and rescheduled to Buttonwillow.
Hard to say what exactly itâs worth. My guess is the track rental & income doesnât at all come close to what theyâve asking. Family greed after the old man passed. Disgraceful

I'd imagine that's more of "we think this is what buyers with money are wanting to hear" than anything else? This Offering Memorandum is provided by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties (âBrokerâ) to registered Buyers (âBuyerâ or âBuyerâs Agentâ) for the purpose of considering the acquisition of the real estate assets and optional business of Willow Springs International Raceway.

Fixed it for you. It's like closing an "drag strip". Cuz when it's gone nobody's going to build another one.
