WTF does this light mean? Came on earlier today, then it disappeared later?

Is it on all the time. Or did you spin the tires through a turn?

That's freaking weird, I got a similar code today for the first time in my Camaro.
Were you driving on Jamaica by any chance?🤔😁

It means the Traction Control System was activated. On a GM vehicle some of those kind of functions can be accessed and controlled via Settings on your radio/nav etc control panel.

Sometimes a bump in the road or rough stretchy road will do it.

Timing of your post is strange. I have my Highlander in at the dealer for a VSC issue and see dealer. They’ve checked the electrical and seem think it’s a sensor now. Which I kind of thought. Hopefully get it back tomorrow.

Go have your batteries tested. How old are they? If it comes on and off, then it is likely a battery issue.

Back in the day it was fairly common to get a ticket for burning rubber, spinning your rear tires when taking off too fast. The ticket would state ‘Exhibition of Speed’. Apparently in AZ, 2 of those violations in two years becomes a F’n Felony.
VC 23109 (C) in CA. My first (and second, and 3rd ticket lol). Still remember it off the top of my head.

Both my ford and Chevy randomly do that. Depending on loss of traction, odd angles with steering input, rough roads. My Chevy van is really aggressive with cutting power/activating brakes, apparently a lot of people don’t know how to drive a van without rolling them over. Really aggravating in the snow, can’t spin wheels to gain momentum.
If it starts doing often for no reason it’s a bad sensor.
oh and it’s in the owners manual. 😁

I get this on my Ford from time to time. Service advancetrac. This usually has to do when the system notes something in the steering is outta wack. Oh my, the pitman arm is known to cause this issue

This^

Holly has had an infatuation with subarus and we ended up getting her a forrester a few weeks ago. Personally there really isn't anything exciting about the car for me, but it makes her happy. Well, her car started to do the same and we found out that when the ambient air temp sensor reads high temps it will do wonky things with the traction control. When he had that high temp spike her car did it and the service manager who drives a new tundra said that his truck did the same.
