I don't know what it was but that's clueless to the point of willful ignorance.

Kind of like my brother who drives around until the idiot light comes on, and then ignores that too. He ran my moms car out of oil and the engine seized up because he neither knew or bothered to find out what that light on the dash was trying to tell him. Hasn't learned that lesson either because recently he sent me a picture of his dash asking what a particular light meant and I had the joy of deciding which of the three simultaneous lights he was referring to.

I take exception to the first sentence of the blog... Maintaining a vehicle is not hard nor is it particularly expensive.

Exactly this. I pointed that out to my wife when I first read the article too.

It probably is hard and expensive if you are a granola eating skinny jean wearing soy boy who is a poor excuse for a normally functioning human being...
