I tried to go boating. Instead I drove looking for parts and working on my boat. We shall try again in the morning. Shout out to Chris v who grabbed the part in orange county for me incase I didn't find it here.

Well, a barb broke on a 90 to the drive oil hose line from the assembly to the reservoir. It's a 90 degree elbow press fitting.

Boats filthy. I been a bit busy with other things. Lol.

Stop at rupertos on the way to the Springs to get me some parts. The landing absolutely sucks when you need something they don't have. Everything is an hour plus away.

One part needed the other part needed after I screwed up the old one.

One tore up hand later and we have drive oil again. Hook up the hose and waters coming out.

I would like to say at this point it turned around, but it really didn't.
We launched early and not a boat in sight. Temp alarm goes off and water is coming in. Time to turn right around. But I'm pretty sure I know where it's coming from. My suspicion was cracked housing or hose to the impeller. Housing is easy. I always keep on with me. Well.....it was a cracked housing!

Back out I go to try one more time.

Finally, successful run! By this point it's hot and my 1 year old was not having it anymore. So we came off right around the time the crowds were heading out. So worked out. Sitting in the ac now. Just ate a wonderful meal. I feel like I could take a nap. But, the kids want to walk down to the beach. So I will go and momma will get to relax while the buddy naps. I was last to go to bed and first up. I figure I'll rest one day. until then, well as they say, party on Garth!

How does that thing take fuel? Is it fairly smooth on a fill up or does it like to burp fuel from the vent(s) when you're getting close to the top.

Left the house at 5am and had breakfest at the springs. Launched the boat and forgot to get fuel. So we cruised down to riviera to fuel up but shit was packed. Told wifey lets just go three dunes and chill cause we were on fumes. Sorry @Justsomeguy for not seeing you. Saw the homie with his M26 that just got finished. The all white is dope.

No traffic going home which was nice. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Turned out to be a good weekend. A bit on the water and off with friends. Sunday morning run to the 3 dunes was so nice. We made the 3rd boat to beach at three dunes. Went up to the channel to swap my wife who was tired for our son and meet some friends. Then a second run down to the Springs with friends was a blast. The run back to the channel was smooth as well up to the 3 dunes and my son and I were able to open up a bit for a little speed run. Ended up doing 7am-7:30pm day on the lake. Then it was back to realities of life. Boy was I tired the first few days bind in the grind.

Looking forward to the Hallett Regatta weekend next!!!!

Put new wheels and tires on the boat today via the Tire Man... Ive been very loyal to big-o but they blew them out of the water with price, professionalism, and time...and they were nice to MaK when she came in to get "her" new tires lol.

Ive neglected to do a deep clean for a bit...so started that tonight...will finish tomorrow...Boat will be in the water for the weekend and MaK and I will be out on the water.
