I was hoping to party with some of my fellow RDP'rs! For anyone that has never gone, you have to put it on your bucket list. It's part New Orlenes carnival, part insane boating weekend, part paradise. Insane weekend! We try to make it every year. This year should be exceptionally epic since our buddy is flying us out on a Gulf Stream and running us down in his 43 Nor-Tech Cat. It will be well documented for RDP! :champagne:

HAHAHA! I think you underestimate how cheap you can do this trip for actually. Trust me, I'm no baller...Not even close....Tickets to Miami or Lauderdale are anywhere from 3-400 round trip!! Rent a car for a couple days and stay at motel 6. You can be into this whol trip for under 2k. Especially if you bring a buddy that will split the car and room...Not much for a trip of a lifetime!!

DO IT! you wont regret it. You don't even need a boat to have a good time. Unlike Havasu, SCOPE and some of the others, the KW poker run is a point A to point B run....meaning once you're there, you're there (except for the fun run to the sand bar on Sat.) everyone ends up partying in town on Duvall and watching the races. You absolutely don't need a boat to have a great time.

Hey Al, a few SCOPE guys are going. Tim McCray, Dan Ellis, Mike West, Tom Witham and I think Sean Clancy are all going. Mario Lapke is taking out Tims Cigarette, coming back and then taking out Mikes 40 CC. I don't know how tight you are with those guys but might be worth looking into

Last year on the Saturday run to Boca Grand I went out with Bob and came back on Jim Wiley's 70 Azimut to get jump shots of everyone.
Didn't work out all that great because the Statement turbine ran out of fuel and we had to tow it back to the fuel dock in Key West. :grumble:

This year I will be on Flight Club's 92 Ferletti out and back.
Hit the wake and I'll get some air shots of ya.

The only issue people could have now is getting a room, it seems that a lot of people want to get married on 11/11/11 so there are a lot of weddings this year.

Yes, Friday nights seem to really catch up to me. But that's after partying til 4 am wed and thursday nights too! I just may be getting too old for that type of partying! I don't even remember that pic being taken. :hmm But I do remember you falling down onto the couch in the bar that had the drag show!!!

Of course the main problem is that drink in my left hand....After drinking 10 redbulls and Vodkas in 4 hours, I'm like the walking dead!!:champagne:
