You're missing a BIG difference, those guys EXPECTED the hit. Most attackers (civillian, non war time), are not expecting or anticipating getting hit, and many (proven shootings in LAPD), once hit, go to flight mode, or, at least, give enough delay time to make a better shot placement and take out the threat.

I would argue that a gunman, wearing steel plate body armor and shooting it out with cops, is sorta expecting to get hit as well.

Either way, I'm not gonna argue against your experience on the subject.

Julio, I'm willing to bet your life that if some lunatic comes at you in a dark theater wearing basically full riot gear while unloading an AR-15 in your direction you wouldn't have the sack to throw your fukin popcorn at him let alone draw your pea shooter and return fire.

Those two had already taken on, KILLED two ARMED VAULT truck operators, had ALREADY robbed two banks in TAKEOVER style.

They TOOK drugs prior to incident to CALM down, not go to adreneline when they got shot at, took rounds.

CAPS intended, my dept. you're talking about, I might just know a LITTLE about the incident, and am friends with the Glendale Cop that busted them a year earlier and had to deal with the F'ing judge that GAVE the SAME guns back at trial for the possession of robbery tools case my buddy got them on.

The wheels of justice are not perfectly round. IMO ANYONE whom prepares in full armor is anticipating some sort of confrontation. I brought up a realistic similarity.

Denver cops don't fuk around. They will kill you faster than most. I saw them run over a biker (dead) eluding them in a High speed chase. (that was at 6th Ave and 225 which is just blocks from the theater)

Just a quick question. What would LAPD do if 20 NHW's took place all at once? 40? More? The truth is. There is NO GUARANTEED protection against such horrific acts. Which is why the Government should simply stop acting like everything is all under control and they will be there when you need them. Give the power/obligation to protect ourselves back to the people. Simple as pie. :thumbsup
