Thursday
Street Party - Parking and BBQ
Thinking about maybe changing up the whole parking and BBQ on the lot. We find it takes more of the day with people coming and going. We have a few friends who are coming from Hawaii for the event. Thinking that we’d like to still offer up some food and beverages but limit the time. Then anyone that could make the window they are welcome. Maybe even RSVP to save spots and food for the time with not really any full commitment as thing go sideways from time to time.

Friday
Launch early to grab a spot in the channel. Never done that to this day. What time do you think that would need to be on the water to grab a spot for the parade? Also maybe a group would want to meet up to watch the boats like we did years ago with @Ziggy and his group.

Saturday
I hear that most are heading up to Pirates. Thinking of doing what we did for the DCB run up river. Find a spot to anchor and watch the boats fly by at full speed. Again anyone have a suggestion Or want to meet up post up your thoughts.

I call BS unless you have a vehicle that you are willing set a tire on dirt. As always want to hold parking for RDP members somehow.

With many lots being built on in the last year or two it seams to be filling up faster. I have been thinking about signs….

”Free parking with RDP sticker. All others will be towed”

The challenge is policing it. Maybe a tow company would be interested in making some $$$ ensuring everyone has a sticker. Maybe @Jefftowz would do it and could make bank that day.
