Not sure if @Fastdadtsmith goes down there or services that model but he handled an install for me in Havasu and did a great job. Fast and clean work that I am very happy with.

You need to contact mission accomplished.

Long time member that built a huge AC company in California now resides in havasu and has just started a new one. They came by my house last week.. what an eye opener.

I’ll get ya the details in the am.

When I was in the field they didnt have inverter driven mini splits so I asked my son Ethan who is real good with these. Your condenser is dirty causing the over heat or possibly the thermal paste used to cool the inverter has seperated from the board causing the board to overheat

It’s weird I have an issue with one of mini splits in AZ and I called 4 places. None of them would work on them unless they installed it.

Actually one said yes but they said it would be min 600 since they didn’t install it.

We will see what the tech says, but it does come on and then turn off with an overheat error

I was looking for someone to look at mine and was told by one company it would be 750+. They said they had to drain the whole system to do anything else on it. So on to somebody more reasonable. It just had a verry slight leak at a fitting.

We have no problem working on them even if you installed it yourself. As long as the parts are available we can fix just about anything

I forgot to update this post. Mini split service calls can be a crap shoot. Because there are so many different brands that have unique parts in them most times, they are not repairable on the first call. Traditional AC units use all the same parts that we can stock on our trucks.

The fan blade nut spun off the shaft. It appears it was never fully tightened from the factory. We got lucky again because we found the nut. This nut has reverse threads and I do not think we would find one anywhere in town. Reinstall the fan blade, check the other mini split on the house to make sure the nut is tight, and we are back in business!

33 years in the business and I have seen another first. This trade never gets boring.
