Two cups, black, every night. When I was roofing, it was a Stanley thermos every day...but that may have had to do with the drinking every night.

Havasu has a lot of coffee places for the size of the town. I find it interesting that the locals complain about the price of rent but you see all these young locals buying $6:00 coffees.

Chronic... Full pot every day, but it's not the coffee, it's the caffeine. If I'm out of house, then it doesn't have to be Starbucks, can be 7-11. Function over flavor. And if there's no coffee around, then it's a Monster or Coke Zero, and if I'm someplace where I can't drink anything for a while (e.g. slopes), then I'm popping a couple Excedrin...

I swear, it should be added to the same Fed list as Crack.
Apparently, Dutch Bros in Havasu opened this week. 5:45AM Monday, the drive thru line was snaking through the entire parking lot. 20-30 cars each morning it seems so far since grand opening.
Even busy throughout the day into evening...... View attachment 1280117 .........how do you all sleep?
😂🤣😂
.
Anyhow, on our walk around the island it is evident Dutch Bros rubbish is here to compete with the Starbucks cups, sleeves & lids we collect😝🙄😂
I followed you all the way up mcculloch and you were doing the speed limit the whole damn way, clearly you didn’t have any coffee. Should have stopped at Dutch bros.

I start every morning with two cups of Folgers Coffee , that’s my jump start juice. Then through out the course of the day I’ll drink another 2-3 kcups of Valhalla Java to tie me over until afternoon coffee time ( around 2-3 o-clock). That’s my special coffee which is
Two shots of Gevalia expresso, a little heavy cream to coat the bottom of the cup, a small drizzle of dark chocolate syrup. Then in separate cup I use heavy cream, agave sweetener and vanilla then lightly whip it just short of becoming whipped cream. Spoon the vanilla cream on top of the expresso and dust the top with chocolate powder.

Yeah I might be addicted to coffee.

The deal with Starbucks is it tastes bad just like the instant coffee I often drink so I'm kind'a use to them both.
Remember TAB the diet coke? Tastes bad but many drank it anyway. "You'll get used to it" was the theme. You never got used to it. Starbucks the same theme.

Juan Valdez instant coffee is pretty good, for an instant.

No room for the Keurig coffee machine in our kitchen. I haul in the the Toy hauler. Better than instant and I can offer half way decent coffee to camp visitors. RD's Daniel likes the coco it makes. Always up for that.

I make one large cup of folders in the Kurag every morning. I really do enjoy it. I find myself thinking “my god, this stuff tastes great” most days that nobody is trying to put a helmet on me. On the rare occasion that I don’t have a cup, it’s not like I lose my shit. I just go about my day so I don’t think I am addicted to coffee but I really do enjoy it.

We have had the original line Pixi Nespresso machine for 12yrs . I prefer the original line over the Vertuo line but sill have both machines.

If you drink lots of coffee then it can get pricy over a pot style. With Nespresso I usually drink 2 cups at the most and I buy a #9 strength and increase the pour on the machine. It just runes coffee everywhere else if you don't have your machine.

So far this year I'm at $750 in coffee, mostly between the wife and some decaf for the kids and a couple of small parties.

Try Amazon...

The price is the same, but if you use your Amazon card, you get the 5 percent discount and cash back options.

No shit?

I didn't even know they had a "best by" date! I just checked the ones I bought. These will be gone in a month or so.

Just like anything from Amazon, you have to be careful who the seller is I guess?

Don't get me started... I've been toying with the idea of starting a small coffee shop on the north side of town. Serious espresso and pour overs.

If only I could find a commercial space with a garage and a front retail / office space, that'd be worth it for me so I could keep my toys in the back and serve coffee up front.

Valhalla Java for the win . It makes you feel like donning the chain mail and riding a wild boar down Main Street while brandishing a broad sword.
When I offer the neighbors a cup of coffee they always give me a strange look and ask if it’s that crack in a cup stuff.

I’ve never had a cup of coffee my whole life. The wife has a Keurig, she has a cup every morning.

My addiction is Monster energy drink. I’ve had a can of that every day for at least the last 20 years, can’t live without it. I just do one can a day every morning. Buy it by the case at Smart and Final.

We'll, 3:21am, seems like a good time for a cup! Did anyone get the promotional special red cup from starbucks yesterday? I went to 5 of them and they were all out.

Up at 3:30am today and just poured my first cup. It is best to try and wait 60-90 minutes before drinking your first cup.

Always black with no cream or sugar. 1 cup per day for me and that's it.

That’s how I was except with Pepsi until about 3-4 years ago. I grew up with my dad always drinking Pepsi in the morning instead of coffee, and it stuck with me.

My in laws bought us a Keurig and eventually the smell peaked my interest enough to try it, I haven’t gone back.
