Your boat has a distinct exhaust note. I've seen your boat more in "Play Mode" actually, the last time was at the HTM shindig at Pirate's. You were playing cat and mouse with a DCB I believe.

Yeah, you can tell that boat's coming just by the sound.
I'd be curious about the camshaft numbers. Lobe separation.

It’s a Teague 1300 565 with 1.35 gears on a 32pbravo

Ok your right, you have horrible slip, before I blew up my 540,(12ilbs on avgas) I’d run 6400 rpm, 1.35 gears BBlades 32 bravo and tickle 130.

I don’t think I’d call 11-12% but less power it always ran 9% and I’ve seen 7% with on prop but on 1.50’s

Dam to Dam and back to Springs for early lunch. I can put the boat back on the trailer @ Windsor without getting fuel.

Had a guy with a blown DCB that wanted to put a grand down against my 28 Skater from Thompson bay to the Springs and back. He claimed 119, which was only two MPH faster than my Skater, but his boat would have to make it the the entire distance. Race never happened (people were telling him he was crazy) but I don’t think his motor could have handled being wrung out for that distance.

Sometimes that's "Above Top Secret"

A degree or two in each direction can change tone and power band...hadn't thought much about the dynamic compression being a factor.
