Multiple inspections this last few weeks , pay attention to the correct holes for petes sake 😂 , One was vandalism (someone pissed in her gas tank) , that was "understandable" , But two Diesels this week a Mercedes Van and an F250 both with DEF in the fuel Jesus !

Odd, nobody ever puts in DEF in their pickups up here...must be the altitude;)

Had a Freightliner 2 years ago, DEF codes from hell. Popped the lid, someone had filled the DEF tank with gas! Apparently, the system doesn't like that. New DEF pump, injector, DPF and some sensors. Not a cheap fix at all.

Once saw a lady come into the store at Black Meadow Landing and complained about the accuracy of their gas pump. Said she’d just fueled her SeaDoo and the pump said she’d put 30 gals in it. She knew it didn’t hold that much. A park worker overheard her and said, My God, Don’t start it. She’d filled the hull with gasoline. She had missed the right hole.

thats so odd, typically the women are super quick to notice and yell at you when you miss the right hole...

Back in the 80s my buddy Alan filled the 40 gallon port tank of my Sleekcraft Executive with diesel fuel at a Kemah marine C store on Galveston Bay. Fortunately I had exited the store just as he had finished fueling and was hanging the nozzle on the pump.

If I hadn't seen him doing it, we would have been somewhere out on the bay when I switched tanks, and that would have destroyed the engine and left us adrift. It was a huge PITA to drain the tank and flush the fuel system. Back then disposing of contaminated fuel was not an easy thing to do.
