Go for it. I’ll write it off for you. 😬😆
Me currently scheming to present you with a highly risky, red flag strategy to write it off:

The new mid engine corvettes do nothing for me...the nameplate is ruined. I'm not a fan of the Lamborghini / Ferarris / whatever else either...Porsche builds a reasonable looking car that typically mops up all the italian shit on the track anyway. Corvettes have always been pieces of shit, but were pretty cool pieces of shit before they went mid engine. If someone parked a mid engine corvette in my driveway I'd have it towed.

As an FYI, in addition to driving and enjoying these cars, it ca nbe economics. My friend just sold his Huracan for what he paid for it new in 2019, his 2024 Huracan is about to arrive. Ford GT's, appreciated, for many reasons, very limited numbers is the major one. On the Revuelto just 400-500 will be produced each year, worldwide. So at 700G, in resale after the first year as no one car flip per the Lambo contract except back to the dealer, figure 800-900G. Secondarly, they are assets too.

So Bitchen.. $200k is relatively a bargain. Chances of getting one for that is probably nill. My guess is a $100 plus thousand dollar mark up and low production numbers..
When they put the Z06 on the market the added markup was nuts, it's coming down and I'm entertaining one in the next year.

At that price point with a 1000HP and world class handling what can touch it?

This will probably be like Ford's 2nd gen GT-40. A bargain for what you get, if you can buy one without massive markup. I can see these holding value and appreciating if they keep the numbers low, like the GT-40.

I can't imagine they will build many of these, this is a genuine hypercar.

The question is will it replace the mustang for most wreckless cars and coffee departures??

Yes, I will be at Cars and Castles with King Daytona Hellcat. I will do a photo post as I do every year.
Cool. Maybe we’ll see you there. We’ve entered this year and a friend of mine lives in that neighborhood so he has his 911 C4 entered as well.

I will say that the twin turbo 700HP in my Quattroporte GTS is a BLAST. Its linear power and I cant imagine even more in a proper sports car.

Ive never sat in one, but at 6'4", am I screwed also? the Z06 is on my wish list once they depreciate!
If you are longer in the torso, yes!
6'7" and I have plenty of leg room but its a no go for headroom.

I’d be hard-pressed to compare pre-Covid prices to post Covid. I saw where the Huracan market was going before Covid hit and it wasn’t appreciating. Covid changed the game with all car prices.

Ford GTs are special. But for a while there you could’ve picked up one for pretty cheap compared to what they are going for now.

But absolutely a Corvette will always depreciate faster than an exotic. Just too many of them made.

Gonna be bad ass but I'm really surprised they didn't do a front hybrid set up from the e ray in the car. They could have made a 200k Porsche 918 or McLaren p1 killer.

The car would have been a world beater if it was AWD. 1000hp is a ton of power for just rwd even if it is mid engine. Interested to see how they work in the real world.
