Condo or park model would work.there will be 3 adults,1 kid,and a 20 pound,10 year old dog.any advice on a good place to stay?

Go to Sams Beachcomber webpage. There is a rental list to contact the owners directly. There is a private launch ramp, docks (26' and under), and beaches. Most rentals come with a golfcart.

Islander park model if you didn’t have a dog. I don’t think they rent park models if you have one. I could be wrong. Worth checking out.

The Nautical is right on the water with a swimming pool, restaurant and a nice beach for the kids, but it’s over $325 night.

Or the London Bridge Resort in the channel.

I would double check Nautical. I just checked ur dates and it is $152 a nite. Great spot for that price

Wow, okay. I heard the rooms were way expensive. I’ve got a Timeshare there and never paid for a room.

The Nautical has its own launch ramp and a large dirt lot to park your truck/trailer. The ramp is never busy.

Go Islander and a rental trailer. Dog is ok. Ramp and security is best. Also cart rentals, ice and store for ice cream.

Good to hear that you have it inked in. You are right at 10 years old he will have a great time. Post up if you need anything while in town. 👍

You’ll like it there. Inside the restaurant is kinda a Starbucks for coffee in the morning. Your grandson will love the pool, the cocktail waitress will bring him a non alcoholic drink, or you can walk up to the pool bar and order for yourselves. I think they also bring food to the pool, but I’m not sure.

Grandpa may love the scenery around the pool! 🤪

Best choice. Kid will love it. Pool/lake to play in. Other kids to play with and easy for adults to be entertained while watching the kid.

And they usually have the big inflatable waterpark just off the beach.

Enjoy,
Just keep an eye on the weather if you are planning on leaving your boat in the water overnight. The beach in front of the condo/timeshares gets hit pretty hard when the wind picks up.
