All moderate to significant purchases get ran by the wife. I want to stay married.

I usually buy what I want. If it is a big purchase we always talk about it. She is always a firm "no" but in the end I buy it anyway. Most of the time she caves. One time she didn't and I finally told her I'm buying it regardless. I think it took a month before she would actually get in that truck.

My favorite thing to do in the middle of all of this is change the back ground on her laptop to a picture of whatever it is that I intend to buy.

I'm a lucky man....My wife likes toys and has no issue with the constant influx of dumb stuff as long as she has access to the keys.

If she starts to give me crap about a big purchase I just have to remind her about all the little projects I do for her.... well, thats when I'm done crying. lol

Mine was just happy to get her 3rd garage space back tonight after all the construction around the house that has been going on.
