What’s the shittiest beer you ever drank?

Anchor Steam. I truly thought it had gone bad, but someone familiar with the beer said, that's the way it tastes.

Years ago when those 1st came out . . . we passed one around between us & our girlfriends . . . one gal took a swag, then made the yuck face and said, "This tastes like liquid doritos" !!!! We still laugh about that one !

I was stationed in Germany in 1978. My buddies and I went to a store in town and asked what was the best beer they had. They recommended EKU, telling us it was the strongest beer you could get. We bought a case and towed it back to the barracks. We each opened a bottle with great anticipation only to spit it out on the first gulp. The shit looked like used motor oil and didn't taste much better.

Being poor GI's, we didn't want to waste a whole case of beer so we had to buy a case of Miller and mixed it 50/50. That was they only way we could drink it.

There were several malt liguor 40s back in college that I hated, although I developed a taste for King Cobra and that was my go-to back then.

The worst I can remember was a skunky cider in London. We were out at a pub during a port visit (Navy) and my buddy didn't like his cider. I made a real big deal about how much I liked cider and offered to swap beverages with him. Only then to find out it was actually skunky. Since I had made such a big deal about ciders, I forced it down, but it was HORRIBLE. Still gave me buzz, though.

Lucky Lager , but loved the "cap riddles" , MIL would buy it for the Cabin at Naci , since it was 25 miles to the nearest store at that time we were stuck with it when the Coors lite ran out , I think it was $1.99 a twelve pack back in the day

Couple shakes of Tabasco changes this for the better. Yes it's weird, but when the very large redneck hands you one out of the cooler on the side of a country road with the bottle of Tabasco in the other hand you take it,,,,,

Reminded me of a story.. When I was in college my dad worked for Miller in Irwindale and they had a partnership with Heineken.

So I show up to this party with these 3 liter magnum sized Heineken bottles, everyone loved it. It was crazy how much beer we drank in those days. Makes me puke thinking about it now lol. It's all about liquour and a few beers these days as chasers

I had to think about this for a day or so.

Back when I worked we would gather at a English Pub on Thursday after work for a few beers. I got a taste for Bass on draft. It was delicious. Soooo, I decided to get some in a bottle from the local liquor store. That beer was awful!!!! Big disappointment. It was a 6 pack and I poured the other 5 around my tomato plants, beer is supposed to kill slugs and snails.
