You believe that? They do it because they are entitled..

That said the Rv shoulda slowed and made a pass when it was safe..
Lol I didn’t say I agreed.

I think everyone should enjoy their hobbies. But you need to accept the risks, especially the ones that are out of your control.

This does remind me of a story at least 10 years old. Its common to see groups 5-10 wide heading to Santiago Canyon. These are on side roads with room for them to do it. They would take up 2 of the 3 lanes and be in packs of at least 50 it would seem. I cannot remember who told me this but this kid drove by one of these groups and gave them the train horn. One guy went down and took half the group with him.

They should'nt ride so close together. It can be dangerous

Motorcycles are just as bad on that road. I had one pass me on the left. I swirved right because it startled me and I went into the bike lane... I hear a tink noise... one of his buddies was passing me on the right just behind him, in the bike lane... he was squirrely and the noise was him hitting my mirror. They all took off. Saw two guys fucking around and hit each other. One went down and slid across the Santiago bridge at 241. Slid and rolled the whole fucking length. Not width but length.

No matter how much the bicyclist is right... you're arguing against a 20000lb vehicle at 55+ mph. You cant argue your side when you're buried in the ground. So dont put yourself in that situation.
I grew up understanding the Lug Nut Rule. Its simple math however nothing like getting some exercise riding your bike and challenging a shit ton of lug nuts against some potentially mentally challenged old dude who's lived a full life already.

What do I think? Cyclist is a dumbass. So is the MH driver. Looks like wide shoulder - at least in that location. If that road isn’t a “bicycles can use full lane”, then they should ride single file. If there’s debris in the shoulder (or bike lane), you can ride outside (into vehicle lane) to avoid. Obviously, if safe to do so. The MH either misjudged distance when passing or “I’m gonna teach theses skinny tired a-holes a lesson.” MH barley moved over so I don’t know what MH was thinking?

Riding 2 wide certainly good for conversation. But, isn’t exactly safe on a 2-lane busy road. I’m an avid fan of cycling, but don’t actively ride. I would if there were safer roads/paths to ride. Lots of skinny tired a-holes, but I like to give them the benefit of the doubt and treat them as if they’re my brother out there staying in shape and wants to make it back home safe. We all have somewhere important to go. We all have a sport or activity we’re passionate about. A short blip of time to be inconvenienced shouldn’t make a person want to mow down a person(s).
