I've always been loud, outspoken, not quite right in the head, and ready to throw down at the drop of a hat....the guys I work with quickly realized this shortly after I started working at my present job they started calling me "Punchy" accordingly. OCMerrill was my business name 8+ years ago. Merrill is my last name and OC is for "The OC." When all the shows and crap came on TV using the OC I bailed on the name for use in my business. I don't usually ride the trends.

I keep it is as a forum name because I have been using it sense 1998 when the RV.net forums came on line. It's cool when people cross over forums and know you from elsewhere.

At dat time a "gigabyte" was huge, and since da gig is of "large proprotions", took "giga" and combined it wit' my original, obvious nickame, and "Voila!". Now many of my friends simply call me da gig, Uncle Gig, or just plain "gig". Y'all can call me Mr. Gigamurph. :thumbsup
