After reading Daves Schiada shop tour thread I was stunned at the prices people are paying for these boats.I know these customs are one off and built with a whole nother level of craftsmanship than any other manufacturer out there. My question is I have a 1981 Schiada whaler v-drive that is very good condition. It was originally rigged as a twin turbo setup so the basic hardware can handle high horsepower. The boat was owned by Art Hale (founder of American Racing wheels and his good friend Parnelli Jones). It now has a basic 454 chevy motor and is just a cruiser but could be turned back into a twin turbo monster with a new motor and taller gears.Given that the whalers are very rare(the deck mold is history)and the v-drive version consists of only three boats what could I realistically get for this boat if I were to sell it?You can see pics of it in the Schiada forum under the 22 Schiada pictures thread.By the way it is not for sale just curious.
