Where in the Keys? Like Key West?

That's the only place I've ever been there.. Duvall street is amazing!

Home sweet home. :D

You could spend a TON of time in the Keys and still not cover all there is to enjoy. Islamorada for fishing and diving and a taste of what "Old Florida" was like.

Hit up the Dolphin Institute and then a lunch stop at Robbie's before you leave Islamorada. Check out all the gift shops as you head down US1. Stop at Bahia Honda and if he's feeling manly, swim in the channel under the bridge with some big f-ing sharks! :D You can stay overnight in one of the cottages here but it's more primitive than most places.

Spend the day looking for the No Name Pub and maybe an afternoon fishing out of Little Torch Key. Plenty of flats fishing to do. As I typically recommend a guide, look up Chris Robinson. Highly recommended!

Get to Key West and settle in. Then spend the next few days enjoying all of the "Conchy" things you can do. Bars, museums, historic landmarks, Bahama Village, the Conch Train, Hemingway House, Mallory Dock at sunset, the Southernmost Point, Smathers Beach...... I could go on and on.

You'll love it!

We went with some other Islander Trailer Trash to Key West for a week a month or so ago.

Great fun. We rented little speedboats and zipped around some small cays, snorkeled, did some wine and sailing tours, then a tour on kayaks through mangroves.

Rented scooters in Key West, that was a hoot, bicycles were easier to park though! So many bars downtown it is crazy.

Take your time and enjoy the drive. The view is absolutely stunning the whole way there and back.

I'd love to do it someday on my Harley. That would be an absolute blast. 👍

Thanks for all of the great suggestions. Can't wait to check out some of your ideas! We are going to Dallas and then Charleston on this adventure. Beerrun must see Gas Monkey Garage 😁

My typical Keys excursion is to throw away your watch and switch to "Keys Time".....From there on, Drink, eat stone crab, drink, eat oysters, drink, eat conch chowder, drink, eat more stone crab, drink, eat grouper sandwiches, drink.......;):skull

And always keep an eye out for Keys Lobsters.....Then Drink, eat lobster, drink, eat lobster;)

Just go with tee flow and you'll never get close to running out of things to do. Adventure is in every direction.:thumbsup

Take the catamaran ride out to Fort Jefferson/Dry Tortugas. You get to snorkel and tour the fort.

Just got back from Key West. Duvall Street is where all the action is, plenty of bars and restaurants.
