Hi all,
I have a 26' Eliminator Daytona and I want to replace the swim step. In looking in the CP marine catalogue is see that they have swim step & brackets available in 12* and 16*.
I am in L.A. and the boat is in Havasu so I can't just go measure it.
It is my gut feeling that the boat has a 12* transom angle, but that is just a guess on my part.
Does anyone know?

My plan is to put a longer swim step on (the old one is 12" front to back), and I am looking at 14" steps so that I can install a flip over ladder that will go over the tie bar on the outdrives.

I’ll be out there tomorrow night, I’m not sure what part of the boat to have level before I put the gage on the transom? It looks almost square , so I would guess it’s the lesser of the 2.

David give Bob at Marine Industries West a call for the swimstep. His billet ones come pre-drilled for the Aqua-Step ladders. He will know what you need.

Hi Boat 405, I would think it would be the difference between 90* and the actual angle between the step and the transom. So if it is 12* then the angle between the step and the bracket would be 102*. I think???

Hi Gary,
Thanks, I will give Bob a call tomorrow. I did call Eliminator today, but everyone in the shop was busy so I didn't get any info.

12 degrees. Gary took the only available extension cord when he left. Fear said he was going to get another one. Still waiting.

ZX14, thank you. That is what I needed. I ordered a new swim step and brackets. I will need to send it out to get it polished and then clear anodized.

Let's see more of your 26... Twin small block? Can't be too many of those built. Love twin small block boats.

From what I understand there were just 4 built. I love the boat, just bought it last October. It will run 80 mph, handles really well, gets up on a plane very fast and just sipps gas. I have been averaging 7-10 GPH total for both engines.
