Time to do some mods to my Porsche so looking for some info.

I know there are some Porsche guys on here. What is the best forum to go to?

How about local shops (Prefer Temecula area but could go anywhere if they are good). This is kind of a nice car so I don't want to hack it up.

It already has exhaust, Brembo's, shifter, and a few other things and yes, IMS has been fixed. Would like more power and some body mods, especially the bland looking front end.

Oh, and if you have a Porsche, might as well post up some photos!

Great looking 996! Really like the wheels

I use BBI call Betim. Gmg good as well

A custom tune can make a difference and BBI and UMW have great reflash tunes

There is a supercharger kit that can make your car near Turbo level power

6speedonline is a great forum

These guys are good and do a lot of high end racing (i.e. Daytona LaMans etc) they also have an association with the Porsche factory - and you pay for it all

http://www.hergesheimer.com/phone/index.html

These guys are PCA POC members and support local track days and are much more of the every mans Porsche shop - they specialize much more in your car vs gmg that likes to work on new GT3s etc...

Yes both have worked on my car and both are nice guys - ask your self what you really need

There are a lot of shops in OC and LA not to many in off the 15. I would suggest you get a copy of Excellence Magazine and contact Arnold Getty Getty Design http://www.gettydesign.com are in Santa Ana and Riverside. Arnold makes 80% of the body modification kits and you can get a catalog hook up with a body shop and keep the project simple and more RDP style than any of the for-mentioned recommendations.

Great looking car
