What is the fastest you have been on a water ski?

I did 8 or 9 seconds @ 104mph on a H.O. Edge 360 Kneeboard, when I was a young buck.

I was the boat bas ass for a day!
Sadly....... i've been a total loser ever since.

...That was a horrible day...I watched that gentleman die before my very eyes...I will never forget watching his family stand by his lifeless body that had been brought to the launch ramp..

It's cool. Yeah seems like 1:30 was the number. He was pumped. We were having a good time pre-race, stretching the ropes, and talking about the runs. We watch this pass and saw him getting over his feet and we're all thinking" let go". We knew it was bad.

104 at Nationals - got passed by 3 SoCal skiers on 3rd lap - ended up 4th overall - tucked tail and quit racing - having A LOT more fun play skiing on the Delta - Will not lie - I miss the adrenaline rush, but not the 'potential collateral damage' when you 'step-off' and crash-n-burn. Hats' off to ya'll that still racing - Good luck at Parker and BE SAFE!!!!!!!!!!

...It was...happened about a-hundred feet in front of me...burst his caroted artery...
...I had seen racing fatalities before like when I was driving the fueler and a guy who I had met a few days before ...was qualifying next to me at Lions...veered left and hit one of the light poles...
...But the barefoot sking deal was so in my face...it is something I will never forget...I can only imagine how it affected you guys...

Fastest ?
Many times, Wide Fucking Open behind several different Jet Botes....some of those were fatser than others and Some were even faster than alot of Prop Driven Boats too.
I'm sure that it is by no means as fast as most of the ski racers for sure.

I've been told I throw up a decent wall of water (or at least I used to) but I don't think it's anywhere as good as these, but I would like to think it is.

The second photo should be titled “Cutting Glass.” Those are all great photos.
