For me, I’d rather have one with a blue engine than a big HP custom one. Less maintenance and better reliability. Also easier on the outdrive. Hydraulic or at least dual ram set up? If you haven’t yet, I check what it will cost to insure it before buying it. With what I’ve seen the price could range from $60k to $90k in this market. Colors will help or hurt also. Just my opinion!

That’s going to be 130ish mph in a 25 ‘ hull - if you tell the insurance the truth, it will be outrageous. If you ar financing, then have a problem, insurance co can deny all claims, and turn you in for fraud. The only way this will make sense is pay in cash, insure for fire and theft, and start saving for when it breaks. It will eat drives, only a matter of how you drive it. Everyone I know over 800 hp has a second drive that they carry with them to avoid a washout at the lake. Still is overall my favorite hull ever built, so I think it will be a blast while it runs. Also, at those speeds, please get a quality jacket and wear it 100% of the time - bad shit happens fast in that size at those speeds.

I sold mine in 2017/18 for $50k. Sounds identical as described. It sold last year for $35k I think (dealer up North) and is back up for sale for $50-60k last time I checked.

35k sounds low for being sold last year. I would've expected 60k
