Dave, I'll risk it, and say this.
I didn't want to "push the limits" - I asked what the limits are. I've seen plenty here that is borderline, or worse.
Yes, I have read the rules, and I have also seen what has been posted by many others. It doesn't appear that the rules always apply equally. Had I posted that pic, I'd be on vaca, or permanent. It was posted by someone well known, and it flew. I like this place, I think you have a lot to offer, and I enjoy conversing with the crew here.
In some ways, it almost seems like the Mods are challenging/taunting people to step over the line. And that line isn't clear-cut. At the same time, the members are egging on a blood-bath. It's good marketing, and creates drama.
I'm not telling you how I think you should run your site - it's your site, and I respect that.
The line is clear cut. I didn't think the picture was that bad, but I also didn't want to risk a vacation. Dave had the picture last night and I'm sure if it was over the line he would have said don't you dare. The fact he said roll the dice if you want was enough for me and another member. I can promise you if i or anyone of us post something over the line we are going to have a vacation. The taunting( mainly of Byron and his band of circus rats) is for entertainment. I can speak for a lot of us when I say we know better. Everyone enjoys being here, hell some of my closest friends are here.
Year or so ago I pretty much challenged Dave etc and he shit canned me for 5 days. Why, because I went head to head with him. Was he wrong, of course the customer is always right. But that's neither here nore there lol.
