What is “too early” for boat start-up on the Parker Strip?

My boats been pretty far “apart”... new mag and wires, studded the fuel tank, tensioning steering cables, oil pressure idiot light, new shaft-log seal and hose...which leads me to ask for some help...can anyone identify the make of this hose?

I’m hoping someone will chime in with an exact match. The hose I just bought from Glenwood is thicker than the one pictured. My space is extremely limited. Thanks

The first time I saw a crackerbox was about 7am skipping across Millerton up near Fresno. Being an early hot rod guy, thought that was the neatest thing on water. Everyone says they're horrible riding and dangerous...yep, sounds like a traditional hotrod

I honestly hadn't given much thought to actual legitimate racing. I've only driven straight line stuff, and limited desert. I'd kind of looked into drag boats, as they seem to be the most comparable to what I've been around. That, and I would be afraid in the learning curve, I'd damage someone else's stuff. What club do you race with? Are the events mostly SoCal areas?

As I recall the drivers name is Tyler. He drove at Buley and yes he's good to go but a little sore.
