I took a summer school class at El Do back in the 80s, the teacher was a big black guy named Titus I think?
Was he still there? Was a cool teacher.:thumbsup

He was still there when I was, he put up serious numbers in the weight room, and was considered a good teacher. They always had to get out the 100 lb. bar when he was doing squats.

I know I didn't grow up striving to break any ole age records, but at least I've outlived a lot of my ole buddies :thumbsup

So when is it exactly we arrive at the "Golden Age" ??

...probably came as a big shock to you when your old pals started dropping, as it has to me...in my bunch and there were a lot of us who were pretty tight knit...this started about five or six years ago and some of these poor guys never had any fun...

...I have no clue as to what the golden age might be???...would it be like 78???... maybe somebody on the forum has a clue and would give us Social Security recipients some forward looking insight???...

...pretty interesting as to the disparity in age and occupation by the forum members and it really doesn't seem to make any difference???...

...I was still a kid until a year and a half ago when I tried my yoga on a motorcycle trick which did not turn out as planned...lol...

...John H Francis Polytechnic High School... Sun Valley Ca...class of S'63 ...I don't think I'm the oldest on here but I am close...

Both of my parents graduated from there about that time. Tom Stevenson or Carole Huinker ring a bell? Prob a couple years earlier.

Daughter went to PHS. Graduated 02. Did I read that Coach Williams is retiring? One of the few good coaches out there.

Yes, he is retiring. Very, very good coach and has produced many NFL players.

...off the top of my head the names don't ring a bell but I have annuals from 61 to 63 and I'm going to go in the house and take a look...

...I couldn't find them in my annuals ...

... was a great school early on but in 1981 when we came in and shot the fight scenes for the ray boom boom Mancini Story let me just say the school had changed???...

Bet you thought you'd be the only Conquistador here. 91.

That's pretty funny. I did. Also didn't know how to spell conquistador so I skipped it. My sister in-law and neighbors a few neighbors were there around 91. Shannon Jackson, Wendy and Jeff Bohlander. Monica Warren/pothe. My brother went for a couple years. Chris cullen.

This was the 3rd school I attended my freshman year (Buffalo High School, Wyoming and Ramona High in Riverside were the others).

Ahh good ol' Burbank. I was a third generation to graduate from Burroughs. My Grandma went there for 6 years. When it changed from a middle school to a high school, she just stayed there. My great Grandparents owned Nays Liquor across the street from the original So Cal speed shop. I'm there pretty frequently. My parents, grandparents, and some other family still live there. Matter of fact, we'll be down there for Easter weekend since that's when and where we're gonna have my Daughter's 3rd birthday party.

When you visit Burbank, do you ever drop by Santo's Submarine Sandwiches? Has been in business forever on Burbank Blvd. I ran into another board member there one Saturday awhile ago, drove a brown Chevy FWD pickup with white "RD SUCKS" sticker on rear window. I introduced myself to him, but I've forgotten what he said his name on the boards was. Possibly you?

Damn, that's really funny. I not only spent crapload of time over their house growing up your grandma was like a second mom. My first river trips were to campo mosquida. Learned to ski,
Barefoot and even did a water ski pyramid on your dad/uncles shoulders there. Even got to watch your dad break your moms foot driving the old nautique like a jackball. Haven't seen you guys since the Easter Havasu spring trips. Tell your parents I said hello.

Small world!! The stories that they tell about Mexico back in the day make me extremely jealous! We haven't been back in almost 10 years! There is a picture of them doing the pyramid that Gail will bring out every once and a while lol
