Quick factoid about Joe Satriani... When he was young he was determined to go into a studio and record his songs for his first record. He took out loans on credit cards, maxed them out.. Thousands of dollars... And paid every cent back.. I've always been a fan of his...

Going to see him in January at Yaamava. Grab some tickets. That theatre is great.

Imagine the sting as your ex plays next to you onstage, night after night, delivering the biggest f* you ever...to thousands of cheering fans. Ouch.

Speaking of the Bridhe School concerts...

Hope... spreading her rays of sunshine and exuberance.

It's actually a great set given you can actually see her and she's not hiding in the shadows.

Rumor spreadin' 'round
In that Texas town
About that shack outside La Grange

My co-worker is nearly 10-years younger than me and he's into the Heat. Plays it at the office. People hate it lol

It grows on you :) That sound must be a Texas and beard thing, eh?

This past weekend we watched the Tanya Tucker documentary on Netflix. MEH, we enjoyed when Tanya talked about herself, but there wasn't enough of that.

Anyways, at the start of the documentary, you can hear Tanya softly singing a verse from this one. No mention of why she was singing it, but clearly it means something to her.

Awesome song

The kiddo is into them and saw them at Cruel World 👍

That's great.

I don't have children, but I've always thought how difficult it'd be if they didn't share your politics.

Just occurred to me - even worse if they had terrible music taste.

Politics is a slippery slope, but we respect each others differences.

Music wise - right?

Got lucky there, she enjoys everything from Hank Sr to the Dead Kennedy's. But she recently became a Swifty and she also likes a lot of the modern kid stuff.

Heck, we were gonna see Agent Orange in a couple of weeks with http404 and his daughter, but Agent Orange postponed the show until Feb 24. We'll find another punk show for sure, it's pretty neat to go to concerts with kiddos.

Daughter is going with wifey and I to the Cult this weekend. Then again, who doesn't love Sanctuary :p

… Hung out with those guys quite a bit… Shall we say the drug ingestion was a little excessive???…
…i’m not real sure about this…but I think I could’ve gone to Woodstock with them, but there was some thing about I was working at Litton Data Systems, and we had a major thing that we had to get done for the Vietnam war effort…
…Fito De La Para the drummer… And Skip Taylor the bands manager are the only two still alive…🤷🏽‍♀️

That Josh Homme is a great musician, too bad he's never found himself aligned with a "supergroup." Cool tune.

I wish Queens played with Iggy when we saw him...

Best country song, ever. From Kitty Wells, and Hank SR/Anita Carter... to Social D and Volbeat!
