That $5.00 came from the 'clean elections fund', so as not to have any 'dirty GOP money touch clean food'. HA HA YES ! Mr O has it handled with FEMA MONEY and Christi knows how to take care of his people. Christi knows that "sucking some Demo dick now will look really great in the future, especially when he is getting money for his people and he gave his word that he would take care of his people." That man is as good as his WORD, no matter what he has to do to make it happen ! Can the Demos 'stand on their word' ? Any of them ? If you are Mitt's accountant and know all about what is going on, why not offer him up on a plate ? Thanks for your 'heads up' on what's really happening !

Donate to place that give back the most amount of their funds. Or skip the middle man and help the people you know directly!!!!

I guarantee hes done a heck of a lot more than you. He donated four million to charity last year and only claimed 2.25 million on his taxes. A storm hits the east coast and he shuda busted out his check book? Where is Bill Clinton, Warren Buffett? Goerge Soros? Al Gore? Fuck Bill Gates shuda wrote three checks!!! Where's all the Hollywood fags? Where is their fucking check book? Obama just closed on a 40 million dollar mansion in Hawaii on a 400,000 dollar a year salary, wheres his check book?
What the fuck is FEMA for if all the wealthy need to write a check when shit gets wet and windy? Go requisition a clue or go stick your head in the oven :skull

It's funny how so much crap is thrown at Mitt for turning a campaign stop into a food drive, yes he did get some ploitical gain out of it but I believe that was not his only intention. People who never do any type of charity work or donate money (in Mitt's case millions over the years) cannot understand how people can perform an act like this and not be thinking about what I am getting out of it. Obama has this handled, the 90 minutes he spent there were fantastic and now he is on his way to Vegas. He only knows how to do 1 thing and that is run for an office...sorry two things he likes to play golf and should be pretty good by now.

Does your head ever see the sunshine or is it always fully buried? Did you ever do your homework while in school? Way before you could jump to your miserably incorrect conclusion, Romney had already taken action doing more than you'll ever find out about. He's done more service in almost every year of his long life than most people will ever do in an entire lifetime. Do some research, why don't you shue? You look more like a completely uninformed idiot every time you post something like this.:thumbsdown

Everything i have read or heard of about Romney is he is quite generous with his money and time, but what ever makes you feel good about it.:rolleyes

Republicans, more conservative types give more in donations of funds and personal sacrifice time and again, so i am good with what Romney donates.

Political gain? Really? So collecting some cans of soup in Ohio is gonna really help those in need when(if) it gets there a few days later?
Mitt is a generous man from a generous church, but his timing/choices need improvement, much improvement. He's so out of touch...:headscratch:

Rather than the obvious op he could have simply held a press conference and spoke for his "party" to the true needs of the rescue/recovery.
I like Christi's response when asked if Mitt had given him a call...LOL

Where's the Donald and his $5M bait? He's Mr NYC, what's been his response?

We have both family and friends impacted directly by the storm...many have lost EVERYTHING...

Romney is accused of turning helping storm victims into a political act by the same people who ignore O neglecting his duty as CiC and allowing Americans to die at the hands of terrorists while he rests before a campaign fund raising trip to Vegas.......:headscratch:

Folks like the Shue have really got it figured out. Pitiful......Fortunately the majority going to the polls this time aren't as stupid.

You say Romney is out of touch???
So being in touch with Americans must be hanging in Rev. Wrights church for 20 years and being good buds and starting your campaign in Bill Ayers house???
Yeah, Damm that Mormon for spending a few hours helping folks.... Voting Romney, what the hell was I thinking??

Do some research. The estate is being paid for by Dem contributors. It's all there for you to google.

Typical Dem thinking.....Donors buy the clown a $40M estate, and the "rank and file" blind supporters don't give a shit. Good grief it's no wonder the government is so damned corrupt.:rolleyes

I have no idea if it is indeed being paid for by others, but his Chitown digs were all wrapped up in a shady deal with a convicted felon so nothing surprises me.

Politics and whose in office is just a game to you guys it seems. Ho-hum, as long as my piece of the pie is good, fuck the rest of the country. These pie laying golden geese have a way of dying you do know, and it's generally due to neglect, ie- "I could care less...."

Oh I understand completely that you could care less about bribes and favors.
If any of you O faithful cared even a
Little bit he would already be up on charges many times over.

You did seem to insinuate that O could pay for it himself because of his book deals.

You know, the book about his anti-colonialist, whore mongering, wife abandoning, communist, alcoholic drunk car crashing, sperm donor that O idolized in absentee, father.
The same guy that O takes his lead from politically as stated in "Dreams FROM My father".

If your head was pulled out, as I earlier suggested, you would see that this exemplifies his entire life. His timing? Really? Out of touch? Really?
Here are facts. Refute these shue, or show us how they were done for political gain, as you say.
* Volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial campaign 1 year.
* Unpaid intern in Governor's office 8 years.
* Mormon missionary in Paris 2 years.
* Unpaid Bishop and Stake President for his church 10 years.
* No salary as president of the Olympics 3 years.
* No salary as Massachusetts governor 4 years.

That's a grand total of 28 years of unpaid service to his country, his community and his church. Why? Because that's the kind of man Mitt Romney is!

Rather than the obvious op he could have simply held a press conference and spoke for his "party" to the true needs of the rescue/recovery.
Does every single bit of major news escape you or, are you just opportunistically taking cheap shots?
Mitt Romney has been urging supporters to donate money to the American Red Cross to help fund storm relief efforts, and on Wednesday an aide disclosed that the Republican presidential nominee has made a donation himself. The aide declined to disclose the amount of the donation. In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Romney canceled his campaign events on Tuesday, instead staging a ?storm relief event? in Kettering, Ohio. The nominee joined about 2,000 supporters to help pack supplies such as canned goods, rice and diapers. The American Red Cross appreciates the support from the Romney campaign and is working with the campaign to process this donation of supplies.
Are you saying with all the digging you seem to be doing, in an effort to discredit Romney that you missed what he's done over the last few days or did you simply choose to ignore it and make ignorant statements that prove your misinformed condition?

Honestly Shueman you are coming across very poorly.

The President lately is in self destruct mode. Quite frankly it is very troublesome. I am fearful of what may happen after the election whether he is reelected or a lame duck.

My hope is that he will lose reelection and go away quietly.

Keep in mind that I am a Moderate Republican and have not always opposed the President.

From foxnews.com...

Relief is pouring in for the millions on the East Coast struggling with flood damage and power outages caused by superstorm Sandy, but recovery could be a long slog.

Out-of-state utilities have sent crews in to help restore power, and nonprofits are feeding and housing storm victims. The Salvation Army has been helping hundreds of people with shelters in New Jersey alone, as well as providing food and water to first responders. The organization is also sending out ?mobile feeding units? from Western Pennsylvania to the Garden State, New York, Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia.

The American Red Cross is gathering donations for the relief effort. The organization has put up tens of thousands of displaced residents who were left homeless in the wake of superstorm Sandy since it hit on Monday night. On Wednesday, some 7,000 people spent the night in 115 Red Cross shelters in nine states, according to officials. Click here to find a shelter.

Those wishing to donate to the relief effort can text the phrase "REDCROSS" to 90999 to make a $10 contribution for every message sent. In addition, iTunes users will also find a donate button located on the main page for the iTunes store set up specifically for Sandy relief. People can also make contributions by calling 1-800-733-2767.

How you can help:
-To donate $10 to the Salvation Army, text the word, "STORM" to 80888 on your cell phone

-You can also make $10 donations to the American Red Cross by texting "REDCROSS" to 90999

-If you want to volunteer in New York City, go to http://newyorkcares.org/volunteer/disaster/ for information

-To volunteer in New Jersey, call 1-800-Jersey-7

?Our first priority is to get people the help they need ? providing families and individuals with a safe place to stay and food to eat,? said Charley Shimanski, senior vice president of Disaster Services for the Red Cross. ?While it is too early to know the full extent of Sandy?s damage, we expect to be working with a variety of partners to help people for the next several weeks.?

The Red Cross estimates that they have received over $11 million in donations as of Wednesday morning and is urging people who live in states unaffected by the storm to donate blood as over 100 blood drives were cancelled after the storm leaving a shortage.

Many large corporations are pitching in as well donating large sums of money towards relief and clean-up efforts.

Lowe?s, BNY Mellon, Capital One, Wells Fargo, Toyota and Mercedes-Benz, all have donated $1 million each. Kellogg Cereal Company, and Toys ?R? Us have so far donated $500,000 each. Bank of America has donated the same amount to the American Red Cross and will match the amount in donations to states affected by Sandy.

Some have asked for the public?s help with relief and shelter.

Fairfield University in Connecticut has asked its alumni to help with temporary housing for students.

?The authorities from the Town of Fairfield have indicated that the Fairfield beach area will be uninhabitable for an extended period of time," read an email sent out by the college. "Fairfield University is asking our alumni from across Connecticut to consider hosting beach resident students who have been displaced by Hurricane Sandy until they can move back into their homes, or find a more permanent residency option in the area. We are estimating that students will need housing for a minimum of four to eight weeks.?

Anyone willing to help with shelter for students can go to this link to apply.

The states of New Jersey and New York have asked for volunteers to help with response teams and at shelters.
The Garden State has asked volunteers to call 1-800-JERSEY-7 to sign up while New York City asked those interested in helping to email their name, phone number, and borough of residence to [email protected].

I'm sorry but liberals can't understand such concepts. I wonder what Mitt would have said in that call? I'll have more flexibility after the election to help out? :D

I can't believe the level of stupidity coming from the Democrats. Desperation at it's best.

Dems sure are good at complaining about how the Republicans chose to donate THEIR money. But they are so elegant donating others money.

When OBUMMER / BIDEN donate as much of their personal money as Romney / Ryan then and only then will YOU have any say in the mater.

OT who him I say where these donors want to put their money. Donors gave millions for a Reagan Library and the Nixon Library which I drive by every day on the way to work and back home. Nice place on the outside but I never have been inside. Not to compare a library to a Hawaii home, but its the donors money. Thats why I could care less. I rather go to the John Force museum here in Yorba Linda.

This x100000000000000000000000000000. :thumbsup too many people take advantage of charitable people, if you are going to donate to a charity go to guidestar and check their tax returns first, see what they are paying their board, their staff, the advertising contractors etc..... Donate to place that give back the most amount of their funds. Or skip the middle man and help the people you know directly!!!!

Read this again to make sure you understand what Racey is saying. There are thousands of charities but few that actually send the lion's share of the donations to the needful cause. Administration costs, phony fees, huge salaries, etc. gobble up far to much of the donations in far too many cases.

My least favorite of all is "Bono's One Foundation" that collected multi-millions for aids and hunger yet only saw a little over 1% of all collected, actually go to the causes. That's not just wrong, that's criminal, in my opinion.

" He shuda" ??? You should have completed the eighth grade..

I have to ask where you came up with this one ^^^ LMAO

If you're to bitch about others you should first verify that you're not talkin' out of your pie hole.

Which part John??

It is true about the 40mill estate, and it is true that it is being paid in full by Dem contributors.
There are numerous links with a quick google search.....pictures too!

Powell has proved to be a big disappointment and a whiner to boot. He played a game with everyone in many ways.....

I had to wash that stink off my feet somehow my friend....:) Hopefully you can get that stain out. Lol

The story about Obama's so called multimillion dollar mansion in Hawaii is hilarious. I'm surprised to see anyone believing it to be any more than the nonsense that it is.

With regard to Tuesday, I'm not nervous in the slightest. The best man will win the election, which is something we can agree on today. I actually favor Johnson, in many ways.

Hope you and your family are well. Time is flying by

John

This reminds me of Bobby 1986 saying that "he's leaning toward Romney" as if both of you won't be casting your precious vote for the Obama of your choice. Talk is really cheap with some. You're voting for the Kenyan, John. I know how hard it is to justify such a decision but it was made many many years ago when you professed your all to the party of takers.
