Wow. A Benjamin used to get you like a 9-10 pound ham. Its been awhile since I've been there but I always told them give me the $100 ham so I don't have to play 20 questions with how many people I'm feeding. If I'd get only 1/3 of what I'm used to I will need to plan better.

I'm gonna go to my Brothers in Valencia for Thanksgiving Dinner, then my Dad and I are headed to Mammoth after dinner for a few days. My Dad just turned 80 and I'm doing my best to keep him busy and out of the house. Think I'll take him to Morrisons at Convict lake for a nice Birthday dinner. Then a few buddies are coming up and we'll tear up the mountain for a few days.

We are having our son and his family over, wife will bake a 20 pounder and Steve will BBQ a smaller one. Total people over will be 8 to 10 and more food than we need but those leftovers are great. My wife will make 10lbs of sweet potatoes and 20lbs of mashed and dressing from scratch. I have all the peeling details and cutting up veggies, I suppose someone will turn a game on and I’ll gripe because the TV is to loud and I have trouble hearing anyway .

We are going to be house shopping in Laughlin/Bullhead mrs beerrun can work from home full-time and I will find something to do not quite ready to pull the trigger but I think after the first of the year we will be ready so going to spend the weekend to see what areas we like

We were going to do a “friendsgiving” with some of the neighbors since most of us are transplants, but a couple of the families have decided to travel. Went to the store last night and bought some fillets, so that’s what we’ll be having.

We were supposed to go to the Moab area to do some riding and camping.
Weather getting out of Denver and back is looking sketchy so we are bailing. Plus the Heathens didn't do a thing to help get ready while I was at work .
Looks like I'll just work all week and weekend and take Thursday off.

Spending Thanksgiving afternoon with my brother & Sister-in-law, parents, and kids.

Decided to stay home and help my Mom. She had to have surgery yesterday and hopefully released tonight. Got a variety of stuff to cook for the next week so She doesn't have to. Rib roast, potatoes, pumpkin pie and squash tomorrow. Will work on the project house during the day. Need to clean out and organize all my trucks. My work cell is in one of them and I can't find it.

Went to a small leak job already today that will turn into a big one. Got 5 other jobs going and got another lead today for another. Thankful for all the work. Business has never been better. Next river trip will be a great one to make up for missing this weekend.

One day I am going to do home made turkey pot pies. They are great with pie crust.

Had never crossed my mind until I saw this last week. Then with the leftover, I asked the wife @Mrs. Riley1 and she whipped some up tonight,

they were delicious, best use of turkey leftovers I’ve had.
