What’s the story with the empty building next to Chabones?
I don’t know anything about it other than they have been working on it forever and then just kinda stoppedFrom my understanding multiple concepts have been started but nothing ever finished. the second story concept sounded cool, but it fizzled out during the Fauci led closures...
@RiverDave can you shed any light?
The original Firehouse Bar was on Capri, it was a rad little bar (the Toby Keith, "I love this bar" comes to mind)! The owner wanted to expand and moved into that building for a while. I don't know what happened. I am not sure what the building was before she moved in.I thought it was the old Firehouse Bar before they moved a long time ago. @throttle may remember.
Your friend could probably find the "pull" and investors here on RDP if he came on here and made his business pitch.I know the entire story. Friend owns it.
Lets just say the concept is great. Permits done. licenses done.
The city and certain restaurant owners made it impossible to get to the finish line. These delays caused investors to back out. Its pretty much complete inside.
ah the good ole boys club..I know the entire story. Friend owns it.

When she she opened it… a few days later we walked in and ordered beers. Got that pretty quick, walked around a bit and then upstairs… we downed our beer and left. The smell of the place was horrid. Haven't seen much work going on there, best I can tell there's one in Murrieta , it has good reviews.Speaking of, the building next to it or one down has a banner hanging on it, "SOCAL" and small letters underneath. quick glance I thought it said Taqueria maybe. anyone know anything about that one?
I wouldn't think anything unless you wanted to invest. You've created a place for like minded people (some with extra capital) to hang out. The fancy restaurant doesn't get cut in on the deals that are completed in their lounge eitherCurious as to what I'd get out of providing that investor network? LOL
This isn't biz launchers dot com... Unless they wanted to pay for the Blinky blinkies on the page. (ads)

The "pull" is you the "Fixer" of Havasu. Get the situation "Fixed" and bring in investor's. I'm sure you would be handsomely rewarded.Curious as to what I'd get out of providing that investor network? LOL
