Sounds like a smart move to cut the overheads and meet the production numbers. They can not be building a huge number of boats. My bet would be less than one a week. Who knows maybe I am way off.

How many boats do they build a year? Lower the overhead the higher the profits. Just ask MC Hammer.....

I'm not sure what there production schedule looks like, but I'd be surprised if it was one a week right now.. That's a lot of freakin boats for this industry right now.

I would be surprised if it was close to 1 a month right now.

No sense owning a huge facility if you only want to build 12 boats a year.

Does it really matter what size there showroom/shop is?? There boats are the best hands down and everybody knows it except those Schiada guys who are in denial! LOL
From what I heard, they have other locations available as well to build the larger boats. I would say they have the resources to do what ever they need to to satisfy their customers. :)

I had some work done over at Hallett this morning. Dropped the boat off at 7:00am and picked it up at 12:30pm. That's a pretty fast turnaround if you ask me. The showroom and service bay may be small but their customer service is still King...

Not to worry. Hallett built more boats out of that tiny shop than they ever did on Rivergrade.

Jerry told me a while back that used boat sales and service is what keeps them busy.
