[WTS] WellsCraft ski race boat for sale

I am considering selling my WellsCraft. It was owned by Martie Wells for 20 years. I purchased the boat from him in 2020. In 2020 Martie had Redline Performance rebuilt the Whipple charged engine. It currently has 10 to 15 hours on it. WOT Marine installed new Jesel shaft roller rocker arms earlier this year. The outdrive is an IMCO SC with Bravo lab finish 30 and 32 pitch props. I rarely ran the boat over 45 mph, 1 time to 5300 rpm, 87 mph (on new Simrad chart plotter) down river at Parker. The engine dyno'd 6300 rpm. The trailer is a 2015 Pacific galvanized trailer.

I was looking at getting back into some ski racing, but I blew my knee out at work and things change.

The port IMCO Powerflow Plus exhaust riser needs to be replaced, it is getting some moisture in 2 cylinders on the port side as evident by spark plugs. Wide Open Throttle just completed a leak down on the engine and it passed with flying colors. The riser is on backorder from IMCO 3 to 4 months.

I am asking $25,000. If it does not sell I will turn it into a stock lake boat.

I just spoke to Brad at IMCO. The Powerflow Plus risers have been cast. He also said I could remove the stainless plate in the riser and run the engine without any reversion concerns.

I had a buyer, First In from RDP, but his phone no longer works and he has not posted here since the last week I spoke to him in October. Just hope he is OK. Please let me know of anyone knows Dave.

If the boat does not sell quickly, I am looking to change it to a more stock setup as a family ski boat.
