Definitely a steeper learning curve than 3d printing but not terrible and sure not a plug and play deal but it f in works,
Will something like this do acrylic as well?
Well few weeks ago i knew zero about cnc, watched some you tube videos and Shapeoko has instruction videos, as with anything the price is all over the place, this one was under $4k but it can also do aluminum and made in USA,Nice!!!! It is really clean. What kind of learning curve on it? Also was it costly? Besides the fact that plywood is $100 a sheet![]()
I've cut out gaskets on the wife's Cricut lol...I'd like to be able to use something like that to scan or trace out an image to make gaskets with. We've all seen times when we need a certain gasket for a project, and nobody has it, or they don't make it any more.
