100+ pounds gone,
Blood pressure 110/70
HGB A1C 5.5
Everything else normal

Who would have thought that not drinking and eating all day would have that kind of effect :)
Still more to go but feeling a lot better about this summer
New year, new boat, new me, looking up

Its amazing what the absence of beer/alcohol does and how you feel. Nicely done!! Really adds the lbs and face bloating. I quit drinking in October and it made a huge difference even with minimal diet change.

Great achievement Dan! You are one of the most resilient individuals I know.

Looking forward to seeing you enjoy your Cig in 2025 and beyond

(Try not to give up Cigarettes again!😆)

Guess we’ll have to retake that picture next spring 👍🏽

That's great. How long did it take you to get those numbers? Do you have an exercise plan? Asking for a friend whose numbers aren't that good.

After desert storm in April I started mounjaro shots once a week ( it’s like Ozempic)
It makes it so you don’t feel hungry
Well I quit going to the bar every day
Went from 10 to 15+ beers a day to one or two
Now I might have 5 in a week
Started eating healthier since I wasn’t eating as much
And just became easier and easier
Plus Debbie cooks healthy and when we go out we split meals
I can still eat and drink a lot if I want ( as proved in key west)
But as weight started coming off it made me rethink priorities
And drinking was not top of the list
As proved my the lack of drunk posts in the last year
I do miss hanging out with friends thou but try and do other things to occupy my time
Probably why I have so many Milwaukee tools
Also learning new skills like using a mill
Organizing the tool boxes by learning how to do custom inserts in foam which turned into
3 d printing things
And even

Trading the bar tab for an amazing packout collection, dropping 100 lbs and adding at least 2 years to your lifespan

great job.
Actually I’ve probably already in the extra years
I never expected to live this long
My dad and his 3 brothers never made it to my age
On my moms side only one of her 4 brothers lived this long
Probably one of the reasons why I’ve always lived like it could end any day

Nicely done Dan..... feels great eh....I dropped 85 lbs just mostly through escaping the USA diet.... HMOs, preservatives and pesticides from what I am told.... funny how fast it dropped off with just 3 beach walks a week over a year.... the loose skin is tough to look at so I'm beginning testosterone injections this month and beginning light weight training to learn if muscle memory is a true sentiment.

That's awesome! Congratulations! Having lost 90 pounds a year and a half ago to only start drinking beer again and gain it back....don't drink!
