From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you all for the prayers, well wishes, positive thoughts and comments! I have never been much of a quitter (sometimes a blessing, sometimes a curse) πŸ€”πŸ˜

Not going to give up on this either, I mean fuck there's some good material here! πŸ‘πŸ˜

A friend of mine has had an ongoing cancer battle since I have known him. Colon, the stomach, then colon again. His doctors say they can't cure him
but with today's medicine they can keep it at bay and he has been living a pretty much normal life. He has less hair, but pretty normal.

It's no picnic, but it is far better than the alternative.

Wishing you strength, health and a speedy recover. You are not defined by your diagnosis; you are defined by your spirit.

I was diagnosed with leukemia the end of April. The type I have is extremely rare with less than 1000 cases diagnosed yearly. The Doc says it isn't curable, but it is treatable. I need to get my boat back on the water for some hydro therapy. πŸ˜ƒ

I have only told a few friends and some of my family, those of you who are friends with me on facebook please keep it on the down low for now please

Cheers, Bilge
Sorry to hear

He is in remission using an Ivermectin Protocol.

SOB Jeff. I'm know you're torched knowing this. A comforting beacon of hope is that today's medication may keep you going strong long after all of us are gone! My closest friend just finished his battle with this last year and he is doing well. Kick cancers ass Jeff.

So sorry to hear but treatable definitely beats untreatable. Stay strong and if that doesn't work....try a different prop!

I was diagnosed two years ago with "something" that could become "something worse" , intensive blood work and regular rechecks so far so good , It weighs on your Psyche but for now I try to live every day like it the last . My wife is slowly getting her taste , sense of smell and saliva back months after her radiation ordeal , she too will undergo monitoring and testing for eternity ............... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Fuck Cancer.

The only real advice I have is to not get depressed at how the chemo effects you. I know easier said than done.

My first chemo (Glaavec) made it difficult to deal with the heat so I couldn't be outside. That depressed the shit outta me because boating.

They switched me to a couple different chemo's after that because my body got used to Gleevec and needed to switch it up. One of them (can't remember the name) was horrible for me. I told the doc "I'd rather die of Leukemia than take this shit anymore". The doctor listened to me, they switched me to Tasigna and it's been the easiest one and most effective for me. Everyone is different. Point is don't be shy if it ain't working for you.

Good luck bud!!

EDIT: I'll try to figure something out, I've never been much for handouts. Wouldn't feel right.

If I change my mind, I'll start a thread claiming I sunk it at Lake Peru 😁

My Wife is a upbeat positive thinker loves life but the radiation in her throat took its toll NOTHING tasted right and , she lost her sense of sweet, sour, Umami (savory) so despite the fact were "foodies" getting her to maintain her whopping 110 weight was a struggle I finally went to the head shop for some THC gummies (helped alot) But tougher than that was the sadness and frustration that comes with the knowledge of what one is dealing with ...............

I suggest you look up videos from Thomas seyfried. He explains how cancer feeds by the way of a fermentation process that utilizes carbs. To assist in your fight against cancer you elimate carbs from your diet as well as fast.
