Business failed and he lost a lot more than his business while trying to make it work.

I have no knowledge or inside details of this venture but want say that I applaud anyone that gives going into business of any kind a try. Hopefully there is success from failure for him.

So I’m assuming the few months to get it going with new investors didn’t end up panning out. Sucks to see. He was onto something with the product just didn’t have enough capital to make it work.

I saw a luxe Saturday in the nautical cove. The asphalt grey with black strip one. Same guy that owns the matching interceptor I think. Stereo was insane loud. Nice looking boat

Like I said, it's a hard one. That's not cool people are out money. But you also kinda like the guy that took the money. Again, I hope he comes out alright and by that I also mean he's able to make it right with everyone eventually. Which i think he's the type that will do what he can to make that happen.

We've only tried a taco truck here in East Long Beach once. Guy sets up every day in a parking lot of an abandon Ralphs store close to us. It was OK, won't go back though. Then a guy I see every now and then at the pool I do laps in, who during the warm months swims in the swamp called Colorado Lagoon which is just West of Marine Stadium. He was telling me of a friend of his loves to fish and fishes the lagoon regularly. Showed me pics of a 5 ft tiger shark, and some other fish I'd be hard pressed to identify. Said 'he doesn't eat this shit right?' 'Nope, he sells them to the taco trucks up and down Bellflower blvd.'

Working on something means hopefully to get Luxe built back up, if not sounds like he’s using @Flynryan deposit to fund whatever it is. Maybe he’ll be considered an investor.

You wouldn't make it far here. 8 taco carts between here and the dump. They keep raising the prices though. It's cheaper to go to the local restaurants. Tuesday it is $1 tacos but usually 60 people in line. Not worth the wait.

Miches last night. Asada nachos and 2 shrimp tacos under $20.
El torito currently having a few promos. $10.99 chicken fajitas and $4 Modelo pints is my go to.
Sunday special at Chile Verde is trio fajitas with a drink $16.99
