As much as I don’t like Lake Pleasant, there’s nobody there on weekdays in the off season and it’s 15 minutes from my house. Took my FIL out for a few hours as he’s never been on the boat. Water was super low but flat and 82.5 degrees. Air temp was 90 and humidity was low for a change. Dillons at Pleasant Harbor always has excellent lunch and the drinks are great. Shout out to Troon for stepping it up.

Enjoy midweek too even in summer. Usually take the stand up skis and cruise around.

If I go on a weekend I’ll take the boat. Water still 82 hood to hear

We went a few weeks ago on a Friday. I think we saw 4 other boats on the water.

Looks like a great day! I think that the best time of year for boating is after Labor day, since the crowds are mostly gone but the water is still warm. I usually launch at the 10 lane ramp since it is easy with the bigger boat and there is plenty of parking, but I may try Pleasant Harbor sometime in the off season.

I used to do the 10 lane but the Sheriff parking ticket Nazis hang out there and it's an extra 20 minutes from the house. South Ramp on Pleasant Harbor (East Side), is my go-to now.

That walk sucks though, especially when the water is so low
