Any RDPers camp there? I want to camp at the Raceway for the MotoAmerica event next year. For those that have camped there, where are the best camping spots? Is camping at the Corkscrew the best or other view spots or? I have either a 40ft 5th wheel I can bring or a small class C motorhome. I don't need hookups, yes they are nice but not real important.
TIA

We used to camp in the spots above turn 10 for many years for the GP motorcycle races. Great spot for viewing and a short walk to the corkscrew. I would recommend your Class C as some of the spots would be pretty tight for the 5th wheel. Did it with both and the motorhome was much easier and less stressfull.

I camped on the corkscrew last year for the historics and loved it , the bridge to cross to the inside is close . long way to the pits and stuff usually you can rent a cart if you dont have one..

Going to WeatherTech Raceway next weekend for the MotoAmerica races. I am staying a couple days after the races to play around. I have never been there, are there any cool things to see or do around Monterey or ?

Lacuna Seca I gather. Couldn’t tell from the few posts.
I guess we’re all supposed to know.

Tons. Aquarium and area. Not big but. 17 mile drive.
Carmel, walking shopping. Il fornaio italian restaurant on ocean. My favorite Italian and location. Katys for breakfast on Mission off ocean.
Lots to see. Drive south away on 1 pch.
Funny I was just sitting here thinking I haven’t been there in 13 years.
Post up your experience, I’ve wanted to camp at the track.
