WATER DAM IT! We lost more than five million acre feet of water in the first 18 days of February alone because we have not built any storage in which to save it. 5MAF is enough water to meet the needs of 50 million people for a year. The solution to water abundance is so simple. But since enough storage doesn't exist, there is no reason why this water couldn't have been loaded into irrigation infrastructure and used to make it rain recharge all over the valley. Decades of pathetic water waste continues instead...

That California Delta Smelt that now hasn’t been seen in years… my goodness this state never ceases to amaze me😡

Stated above, I thought Trump was on Newscum for releasing waters or he’d hold back federal funds (need to confirm the reality of this)?

Meet the five democrat members of the State Water Resources Control Board.
Four members are required to have professional expertise in specific areas. The fifth member is called the "public member" and needs no experience at all. In fact, the Chairman of the Board, Joaquin Esquivel, is that no experience member. Esquivel was an English major who used to manage a gay youth center, and interned for Barbara Boxer before Jerry Brown appointed him to the Board. Strangely, Esquivel started at the top of the salary chain above the other members, and was quickly promoted to chairman after just two years over Dorene D'Adamo. D'Adamo, the most experienced of all the Board Members, serves as the only person who is qualified in the field of water supply and quality related to irrigated agriculture. Esquivel has a history of using questionable ethics as Chairman, including threatening to make relicensing of the Klamath Dams an expensive and prolonged nightmare if it were to be attempted by PacifiCorp, the previous dam owners. Esquivel and One-Man-California-Wrecking-Ball, Jared Huffman, work together on the state and federal side of radical water management.
