So at Super Cat Fest West auction i ended up with Milwaukee packout stuff that i didnt know i needed , ( yes drinking at auctions is bad)
actually was kind of handy when i was there for some of the things i had floating around in my truck with the two led screens i had brought,
Well when got home i started checking out what was available and omg pretty much everything,
Since a lot of my tools were at the office when we got ripped off its been a little frustrating trying to work on things and remembering shit that was something else i lost.
And since i have these empty tool boxes that are so damn cool time to start looking, Big mistake,
Whatever deal on got on the auction stuff i have blown on all the cool new tools i have now, and funny how one thing leads to another, got the Bad ass 1/2 impact and go to grab my impact sockets to put in a case and of course both sets i had must have been at the office, no problem Milwaukee has a sweet packout impact set, SHIT, oh look if i get this grinder i get a deal on two more batteries, Sweet, and so far i'm impressed with the quality, the impact i got is so much better than the other two i had, and they were air and 110 power
i did end up with a weed wacker that i have zero use for so if anyone wants to trade that for something i'm in, (Edit keeping the weed hacker also)

lol I took this picture this weekend when my storage was cleaned up. It’s not a rabbit hole, it’s a cliff with a black hole at the bottom. this is about 95%

There are soooo many FB and Insta pages devoted to this, there is no need. There are tons of accessories and suborganizers that people 3-d print and sell

Apparently not enough. 🤣
I have only 2 chargers mounted in the garage because I have 25ish 18v batteries and for tools like the vacuums, blower and saws, I have 12ah batteries so they run longer. Unless I'm working on my own homes, I don't really work on jobsites. I'm just a GC who needs all the tools to fix what the subs fuck up.

My bank account has really helped to keep my tool addiction in relative check. I do have a few packouts though for work tools. The best one so far has been the 3 drawer box. SUPER handy to have.

Does your roller have the removable handle? Supposedly that is standard on the just released version. If not, there are a lot of sellers on pintrest that make the replacement pins for removing it. Also a crap ton of sellers on there making and selling accessories for the packouts that are pretty awesome too.

A few I have posted before from the plumbing page. I have around 15 pack out boxes. But majority of my tools are Dewalt. Keep a eye on home depot online for the deals or Hirsch pipe has flyers occasionally. There was a special I saw posted last week buy 3 for $99 get 3 free on the oeganizers.

Holy mother of god
Hell I thought I had a problem
I’m not even an amateur compared to you guys

I have couple of snap on tool boxes that have served me well
And normally I would just work out of those or the ones at the shop
But now that I don’t have a garage and the tool boxes are in a storage unit the pack out system seems to make sense
But good lord you guys are on a whole different level

The individual pull out sliders like that is the ultimate way to go so you don’t have to stack and unstack.

I made these labels which made life with pack out a lot easier

you reminded me I just set up both our Can-Ams with pack out coolers and storage boxes too. The kids rzrs got boxes too😆.

you reminded me I have additional packout vacuums too, I need to change my % estimate of what’s in my garage.
they sell the same compact 18v vac without the pack out base for a little less and it’s a great set up and the shape makes it easy to store. Highly recommend. I have the Milwaukee backpack vacuum that I really like for stairs and most uses, but it’s got a really small filter.

Dan, check that weed whacker. If it has quick loc, hold onto it. You can change to edger, tree trimmer, chain saw, weed whacker, power broom. Bunch of cool stuff.
The power broom attachment comes in handy for sweeping, and for standing turf back up.

that's no lie. We've started replacing our 1" air impact guns for the Milwaukee battery impacts.
Is crazy how some of the battery tools have surpassed 110v and air tools. I haven’t touched a plug-in air compressor in a long time. I use the m12 and m18 inflators for all tires. The thought of bringing a compressor to a jobsite, running an extension cord and an air hose just to shoot a few racks of framing or finish nails is out of my head.
I never thought I’d own a battery power jackhammer or concrete saw for sure.
…I also didn’t think I’d own a battery powered caulking gun either but here I am.🤷🏼‍♂️

Holy shit, this thing is sweet, plus i didn't even realize that it had a rapid charger and 8amp battery included, i now need the power broom, the tree trimer and chain saw

Thanks for letting me know about all these things i didn't know i needed :)

The rabbit hole just keeps going and going

The caulking gun is a crazy game changer isn't it? I got one when I was replacing a lot of bard wall mount units and it cut the caulking time in half at least.

Milwaukee makes a nice 18V compressor that get rid of the need for a plug in compressor. I bought one for the Toy Hauler, but used it with finish nailers when I built our chicken coup.

Wife was mad when I bought it, but on that project, she was like holy shit, this compressor was worth it. I think I went into the store needing a battery - Got one free with the compressor and said F it!

Milwaukee packouts are more addicting and expensive than boats. My garage is full of them and I have all my stuff organized by trade, electrical, plumbing, types of tools and next is to start a sprinkler fitting box.

The radio alone is the most expensive radio I have ever bought but I had to have it!.. I carry that and worlds most expensive cooler on the boat so I can clip in my overpriced insulated milwaukee cups

Actually I was thinking that since the suburban doesn’t have a stereo yet throwing that in the back and see how it works

The packout radio kicks ass, and it doubles as an m18 charger when you plug it in.

We also have a couple of the Milwaukee air compressors. They work great and supply enough air for brake adjustments and to locate air leaks.

I’ll get you the model number. It’s bullet proof. Been using the same one in and out of service trucks and in the weather. Just keeps going.

All the M18 Fuel stuff is top notch. I need to replace my old style 1/2" impact. I have been trying to decide if the small 1/2" will work l, or if I need the big one.

Buy once cry once
Actually not that big of a price difference anyway and size wise not a big difference either
Why not just get the 2967
When has anyone ever said damn I need an impact with less power ?
And it’s so good that as mentioned above some people use it over a 1” impact

Watch the Torque Test channel on Youtube. They do some great scientific torque testing on tools and compare and rank them.

They have a mid torque thats a great compromise

Is there a 12 Step Program y'all can go to for your Packout Addictions? Some of you fuckers have real issues and I'm jealous, lol.

I was just thinking the same thing. Lol If there is I might go and try and pick up a few things from some of these addicts.

Milwaukee rep donated the stuff for the auction

I think they have made their money back in all the other stuff I’ve bought since them

😀
