Unfortunately that would all be up to interpretation by the courts. In theory, I think the Logan Act applies only if negotiations are made, like signed deal type things. The other side can say it's wrong, just as this side can say it's just a private citizen speaking with a lower level beaurocrat.

The underlying premise of MAGA is not that they have a problem with corruption, kickbacks, law fare, deals to the politically connected and all the things they allege liberals do, it is that they were not getting their "fair share" of those activities.

So they are now marketing liberal corrupt behavior as retribution. Much easier than just admitting that they are no different. And some will even buy it.

I could be totally in left field on this one but that's why I thought they busted Flynn on (not registering?) and everyone was like WTF because Lurch did the same thing with Iran when Trump took office and Hunter never registered before talking to foreign gov's and everyone ignored those.
